Last week started off where Balraj was very angry on what happened at the party. He scolded Niranjan for being a useless son in law. He scolded Agastya for getting too close to Meera and he scolded Nandini for wearing colored saris. Nandini however retorts back saying that she has no right as Aniruddh's wife since he gave all the rights to Meera. Due to Meera's insistence Balraj allows Nandini to wear colored saris. Balraj vows that this time he is helpless but he won't forget how he had to apologize to Nandini because of Meera. Alokha is possessive of Agastya and wonders why he cares so much about Meera. Alokha had received some herbs that will put Meera and her baby in danger.
Nandini and Meera help Rimi for a project for school. While working Nandini and Meera discuss Aniruddh's death. Nandini wants to know if Meera knows how he died. Nandini asks Meera if she was with Ani when he died. Meera says yes and tells her how she feels angry at herself for the day. She pleaded Ani to not leave that day but Ani didnt listen to her pleas. She pleaded him to take her along with him that day and if he listened to her she could've died with Ani and that would have been good for everyone. Ani's truth of dual indentiy wouldn't be known to both. Nandini gets up and asks her to tell everything because she is ready to hear everything which happened that day. Meera says the night before it was snowing heavily she was restless and sad. Ani told her he needs to go out to the town side to make a phone call. There was no network there at that time because of snowfall. She pleaded and begged him to stay but he still left. She said she wants to go with him to make the call but he didn't take her. Later she was informed Ani's car skid on ice, crashed and fell off. Meera breaks down to tears. She repents she couldn't succeed in stopping Ani from leaving. Nandini looks at her with tears.
Nandini says not Meera but she is responsible for his death. That phonecall was for her. She couldn't talk to him for many days and was dying to talk to him that day. She cries says she shouldn't have insisted him to call. He had to make the call for her. Nandini starts crying and says she killed him. She breaks down blaming herself. Meera comes close to her and hugs her. Nandini puts her arm around Meera. Meera tells Nandini it was not her. The phonecalls did not have code of Delhi. Nandini and Meera are confused.
Alokha mixes the herbs in Meera's milk and hopes that she drinks it. But to her disappointment nothing happens when Meera drinks the milk. Agastya is ordered by Balraj to take care of Meera's cravings and he took her out for kulfi where they sat and talked to each other about their opinions on love. While talking Agastya says he wants Meera to go away but she refuses.
Mrs Gujral comes to invite the Asthana family for her DIL babyshower. She thinks that Nandini is still pregnant. Nandini sits in her room and crys about how she lost Aniruddh's child. Nandini dreams her child goes into Meera's lap and thinks that Meera took her child away from her. Nandini is sad.
Shyama finds out about Alokha's plan to put Meera and her baby in danger.
This week starts of with Meera offering to help Nupur to go to walk while Nupur arrogantly refuses. Shyama is worried as to what Alokha will do to Meera again. Balraj tells Agastya that Meera is business for them and nothing else. Agastya shakes his head in agreement. Pallavi Anuja and Deepika are planning Nandini's gift for her 5th wedding anniversary. Nupur comes home late and Balraj is angry. Meera however comes and saves the day saying that she and Nupur had gone shopping. Balraj doubts but lets them off. Nupur thanks her but assures her that nothing between them has changed. She is still the outside woman who broke her Nandini's home. Meera is left hurt.
Nandini and Akhil have a cute brother sister moment where he tells her about the police station. While talking Nandini realizes that she should rejoin sketching classes and Akhil supports her in turning over a new leaf. However at the end she remembers the wedding anniversary and is sad. Shyama tells Biji about Alokha saying how she wants to kill Meera's child. Biji confronts Alokha and tells her to stop is or else she will expose her to Balraj. Alokha in return threatens to tell everyone that Biji goes somewhere secretly every Thursday. Biji is not scared.
Alokha behaves badly towards Shyama. Nandini comes and assures everyone that her anniversary will be celebrated normally. A gift comes for her from Aniruddh and the postman says that Aniruddh booked it 6 months in advance and that it will come for 4 more years. Nandini has tears in her eyes. She has flashbacks of her and Aniruddh and the teddy bear that he gifted her saying I love you. Meera is sad and blames herself to Agastya saying that she is a bad omen and that she is the cause of everything. Nandini can't be happy if she is there. Agastya tells her to find her mother and she will find happiness.
Meera's mom comes in and says that she is there to take Meera home. Meera is pregnant and she wants that Meera should abort the child. The entire family is shock and Alokha is happy. Nandini hears this and feels sorry for Meera. Balraj tries to explain to Meera's mom but she cuts him off saying that he is worried only about the child and not her daughter. Meera takes offence. Alokha tries to brainwash Nandini but Nandini says that she too lost her child and would never wish that even for Meera. She also admits it was Aniruddh's fault and not the child.
Nandini comes to her room. She is sad. She looks at the photos of hers and Aniruddh. Brings a bag and keeps everything related to him inside including the soft toy. She picks that silver box and also the photo frames on wall. She looks at a picture of frame and says today I am letting you free Aniruddh. Your Nandini is setting you free. The Nandini you married, the one who loved you is killed by you and she can't carry the dead Nandini anymore. She wants to be free from it.
Balraj has a flashback telling Aniruddh about getting Nandini pregnant. He says if Nandini had the child he would have never thought of Meera. Meera and her mom are talking. Meera tells her mom that this family will help her to raise her child.
Nandini goes to the mandir and the new entrant Neel also comes in. While crossing Neel sees her and remembers her. He calls out to her but she doesn't hear. He has a flashback of her decorating a cake.He remembers that she is married now.
He gets a call saying that he will attend Asad and Zoya's wedding as Asad is his friend.
An invitation comes for them to attend Asad and Zoya wedding. Alokha is happy and Shyama and Nandini will also be attending. Shyama gets a call and it is from Mr. Mongia. Shyama is scared and tell Nandini that they have to leave for Bhopal today itself. She says it was Dilshad on the phone and she assured then that they would be there. Nandini is happy and is seen smiling.

Stating what leads to the dance act, sources said that her item number will be part of the party, hosted by Balraj (Kiran Karmarkar) who is excited about Meera's (Sanjeeda Sheikh) pregnancy. However, not all in the family will be pleased with it and they will have their own reservations from attending the bash. But they will be forced to be present there putting on a fake smile. This is what the song Muskaane Joothi Hain will convey. "
Ragini Khanna is simply elated over the same and said, "It is a dream come true to be shooting again with Ravi Ojha Productions after Sasural Genda Phool. It was a homecoming for me. Nandini suddenly realized that she is the one responsible for his death, not Meera, because the phone call was for her. She couldn't talk to him for many days and was dying to talk to him that day. She cries and in a guilty tone says that she shouldn't have insisted him to call. He had to make the call for her.sake. At this point Nandini's guilt considers herself responsible for Ani's death. She breaks down blaming herself. Meera comes close to her and hugs her. Nandini puts her arm around Meera. Meera tells Nandini it was not her because the phone call did not have Delhi code. Nandini and Meera are beside themselves and thundersruck.They both realize then that neither of them was responsible for his death.
Dejected Nandini and sad Meera are still in Meera's, cursing in their own minds as to what kind of common fate they each faced at the hands of a man neither of them dreamt to be a dhokhebaaz.
