OS: Take me away

Finally I have reached the another new in my life. My new college!!

Well it is another new because I have been shifting from everywhere to everywhere and changed school more than 10 times !! Now this is the advantage or disadvantage whatever you consider, of being the son of a successful businessmen of the country.

This time I have landed up in Delhi (dilwalon ki dilli) to complete the last year of my college.

Although I m quite used to the attention I got among new people but this time it was different. I was surrounded by a herd of bimbos all around me !! I have always been really smart in treating bimbos but here it was too large a group or it would be better to call it a crowd to handle.

Finally I heard a manly voice which proved to be my savior for the moment.

"Move girls!!!"

And with that I saw the crowd slightly move making way for the 4 people, 3 guys and a girl.

One of them extended his hand towards me, "Hi! I am Siddharth. Call me Sid."

From my experience and judgmental power I could easily guess that he was jealous of me. Probably because I was going to take his position among girls.

"I am RK"

"RK?? Is that your name?? Plz expand'" he said with a smirk.

"What does a name convey?? They are just mere letters'"

"Attitude haan ?? Well she is my girlfriend, Mady" he said gesturing towards the girl by his side who I had noticed seemed to be uninterested in whatever his bf was saying and was instead staring at me. Surprisingly the way she looked at me was different from the other bimbos. She wore an orange dress and was looking pretty. She should have been among one of those bimbos but don't know why she was different. Her introduction by Sid caught her attention and she extended her arm to shake hands.

"Mady'.This can't be a name??"I said smirking.

"Well it is. You better accept it." She said smiling, she was different. She was not drooling over me as others. Forget me she was not even drooling over her bf.

Before we could talk further the bell rang and we had to go to our respective classrooms.

I sat where I found a seat empty'"Get up!!" I heard sid say. "This is our seat"

"Well I don't find your name written anywhere here'"

"It doesn't need to be there. The entire college knows that this is where I and maddy sit.

You are new, so I can spare you for today."

I was about to defend myself but I saw the teacher enter, I didn't want to create a scene on the 1^st day of my college so I quietly got up.

"You are a mommy's innocent child." I heard mady say in a challenging voice as she smiked.

I would see you later girl!!

During the break I was sitting in the canteen but gosh these bimbos would not let me have food. But I was lucky today. Pranay took me away saving me. He was a nice guy.

"Thanks for saving me bro."

"It was not needed."

"Well is there any girl in the college who is not a bimbo."

"Only two."

"Who??"

"Sanjana and Madhubala"

"Well sanjana is in our class but who is this Madhubala."

And with that he started laughing. Man did I just crack a joke or what ??

"Why are you laughing pranay??"

"Rk !!! Who was the first girl you were introduced to the college???"

"You are not talking about mady, are you??" I was shocked.

"Ofcourse it is her!! Did you not notice??"

"Well' maybe I did'but she is different'.i mean she is a bimbo but she is not."

"Because she is not!! It just happened after she had a fight with her best friend sanjana. Only a few like me could notice that."

"Could notice what??"

"That she doesn't love sid!!"

"What??" Oh god' this girl was so confusing.

"Yes. She just thinks she loves him."

"How do you know so much about her?? I thought that she was a spoilt brat!!"

"This is what her parents think too."

"How do you know that??"

"Because after Sanjana I m her best friend. She doesn't hide anything from me.

It would have been better if she listened to me."

"Listened to you about what??"

"Well whatever you see is a part of making Sanjana jealous!! When sanjana had a bf who madhu knew was not the right person she warned sanjana but she did not listen to her. Sanjana once said that Madhu could never have a boyfriend or find true love as she was ugly !! and this is what iritatated her."

"But she is not ugly!!"

"I know."

"Intresting, she is" I said smirking.

"I want to talk to her." I said determined.

"You won't be able to. She is karate black belt and has beaten up 4 guys who tried to be close to her."

What?? Now I was really getting curious to meet this girl!! She was an all rounder. I wanted to know what was going on in her mind.

"Just wait and watch Pranay!! She would herself come and talk to me!!"

Man, no one could resist Rk !! I knew what to do, but before I could implement my plan things automatically worked out.

Well there was a new bimbo in the college, Deepali, and Sid started to spend more time with her which madhu did not like. So she came to me and asked for help. You know, I have to be the only one!!

"Rk" I heard a sweet voice from my back, and I turned to see madhu.

I raised my eyebrow questioning her, deliberately not speaking coz it always works and guess what it did.

Her face showed irritation but she controlled herself and spoke, "Would you like to be my boyfriend for sometime!!!" she said faking a sweet smile, I was amused.

Wait!! What did she just say??

"Pardon"

"I didn't speak in French that you did not understand!!!" she said irritated. She looks cute when irritated.

"Well I know French" I said smirking.

"Whatever!! I don't like repeating things."

"Then don't!! I am going"

"Wait!! I said will you be my boyfriend for sometime'..please"

"Why??"

"I need your help."

"My help??"

"Yes !! Sid is ignoring me these days and I want him to realize my worth."

"Oh'now I get it. But why should I help you??"

"Because you are my friend!! Aren't you??" she had the sweetest smile on her face while saying this. I was not going to make it easy for her.

"Really?? What do you want me to do?? I will have to see if I am not busy."

"What?? Busy?? You are not a businessman who has to manage his meetings??"

"I am none less than that. Now make it fast."

"Whatever!!" she said rolling her eyes.

"You just have to be my partner for the prom night"

"Aaahaaan. Bad luck sweetheart. I already have a partner!!"

"What?? Who??"

"Sanjana!!" I could see her blood boiling and her anger filled eyes.

"Sorry baby. Find someone else."

I know she would not step back and was waiting for her to react. She was not going to chose anyone else as she knew I was the most handsome guy in the college.

"Don't worry Rk. Just be ready to share the dance floor with me. Just wait and watch."

And she walked away. I can't believe this!! What was she gonna do???

Wait!! What am I gonna do??? I don't have a partner for the prom night!!!

On the day of the prom, just half an hour before it started I was sitting on my bed as I din't have a partner. I know you won't believe that a guy like me did not have a partner but I had no other option. I was not going to ask any of the bimbos. I had full faith on my madhu !! I was praying for her plans to be successful, whatever she had planned.

And guess what, my prayers worked. I heard my cellphone ring in my hand and I smiled as I saw madhu flash on the screen.

"Hello Madhubala" I said with my voice full of confidence.

"Just call me madz or mady, as per your taste."
"Well I like madhu!! Anyways would you like to tell me why are you wasting my time. I m getting ready. So make it fast sweetheart"

"Well then plz be in red as I m wearing that. We need to match colours."

"Why??"

"Because you are lucky to have me today. Sanjana had gone to visit the dermatologist because by mistake she went to one of my friend's parlour."

Now things fell into place. Poor soul Sanjana.

"Now be quick and pick me up within 15 min." and with that she disconnected.

The prom was amazing!! Along with being mesmerizingly beautiful madhu was a beautiful dancer too.

She was dancing too close to me to make Sid jealous but the plan worked more than expected. It was not only Sid but the entire college jealous of both of us.

It was time to declare the prom king and queen for the night.

I heard madhu pray standing next to me. She looked so cute.

"Don't worry sweety. I would definitely be the winner."

She opened her eyes and looked at me irritated. I love that expression.

"In your dreams!! And I m praying for myself!!"

"You cannot win sweety"

"I don't have to win!! I have to make a hatrick!!"

"Well than don't worry I am your lucky charm!!"

And I did not have to prove it. As I said that we were declared the prom king and queen for the night. I could see the envious looks but did not bother.

I stared at madhu as she was jumping with joy and she hugged me tightly.

I loved that moment.I wanted time to stand still. As we received the trophy I realized Sid had already left.

I was scared for tomorrow.

The next day in college, I saw madhu crying on the stairs where no one ever came.

It may be Sid I thought. I sat next to her and placed my hand on her back, she lifted her head and faced me with her teary eyes.

"What happened madhu?? Did sid say anything???"

"No stupid!!" she hit me hard.

"Ouch"

"Where did sid come from"

"I thought you had a fight with that moron!!"

"Moron??? He is not a moron !! He is an idiot, pathetic,rascal and what not !! I don't want to talk about him!!!"

"What?? Don't you love him??"

"No!! I was so stupid to think that. Thanks to deepali for opening my eyes."

I was amused and started laughing.

"Why are you laughing??"

She was offended.

"No nothing." I said trying to control my laughter.

"Btw, why were you crying??"

"Because my parents have fixed my marriage and are forcing me to get married!!"

"What?? Who is the unlucky guy??"

"Are you really asking me that?? If I would have known who it is I would have definitely made him realize how unlucky he is!!! And my parents know that!!"

"Don't tell me you haven't even seen him!!"

"Ofcourse I have not!! When I forced my parents to atleast show me his pic they gave me this!!!"

Madhu took out a photograph taken somewhere around in 90s.

"They gave me his childhood pic and to make him familiar they gave me a pic in which we were together!!!...I wish we had some app which could convert a child's face into what he looks when he is an adult"

'Thank god there is no such app!!!'I said to myself.

"What did you say??"

Was I too loud??

"Nothing?" I said.

"Anyways, give me ideas to get rid of it?"

"I don't think you need ideas for that?.You just need to take your necessary stuff and run away !!!"

"When was the last time you were serious???"

"A moment before."

"What???"

"Ofcouse I m serious. If you want my help I will be there on your wedding night to take you away."

Madhu thought for a while then looked at me.

"Are you sure??"

"Ofcourse."

"Why are you helping me??"

"This is for you to find out.."

Before she could ask any more I stood up and walked away.

After two days..

After break madhu was nowhere to be seen. I was worried and my worry increased as I realized that even Sid was missing. I was not able to pay attention in the class and went out in search for her making an excuse of going to the washroom.

I searched for her everywhere, even on the stairs I found her the other day but she was not even there.

Then I thought of searching in the old building which was more of a storehouse.

It was all quiet but suddenly I heard some noise.

I rushed towards the source of noise and knocked the door.

"Madhu!! Madhu!! Are you fine??"

I had lost patience and I broke the door with all the power I had.

The scene in front of me was horrifying.

I rushed to save madhu from sid. I hit him with all my power.

"Rascal!! How dare you touch her !!!!"

And I punched him on his face.

His mouth was bleeding.

"Rk stop it, you will kill him this way."

Seeing madhu's condition I punched him again.

"Stop it rk" she held my hand.

"It is enough for him, let's leave." And she dragged me out of the building.

She stopped abruptly as we reached the stairs, and she started crying.

I held her by her shoulders and made her sit with her head on my shoulder.

"Don't cry madhu."I tried to console her, but it didn't work. I decided to stay quite and give her some time.

When she was quite I dropped her home.

I was worried so called her at night and was relieved to know that she was fine..

Days passed and things were back to normal but I had to be protective for madhu.

Finally it was the day of madhu's marriage and my plan of saving her being implemented.

(Madhu's pov)

Here, I m sitting in my room all ready like a bride, going to marry a complete stranger, and Rk is nowhere to be seen. What is he doing??

I called him up.."Where the hell are u rk???"

"Don't worry madhu, I will be there. Just making some arrangements'"

"What arrangements?? Do you even have an idea that it is about my life!!! Do something rk!!!"

"Have faith on me madhu, I promise I will be there on time."

"Make it quick Rk." And with that I disconnected.

I sat on my bed, helpless, but I had faith on him.

But why?? Why did I have faith on him?? I went into the sea of deep thoughts and recollected all that had happened after I met rk.

I remembered his words when I asked him why he helped me?

I have finally found it.

It was because he loves me but I m not sure.

But what I m sure about is that I love him. Yes! I love him!!

I picked up my phone and dialed his number, but it was unreachable.

I didn't have patience but my trail of thoughts was interfered by the sound of the band from outside my house.

I was worried. What should I do??

He is not here??

I decided that when I descend among the gathering I would declare that I love someone else and then the groom has no choice other than running away.

And it was time , my mom came to call me.

As I descended I was all ready to blurt out what I had planned.

I lifted up my head to address the gathering as I got the shock of my life!!

And there stood my groom, Rk!!!!

I was extremely happy to see him. I was on cloud nine. I couldn't believe my eyes.

"Planning to run away from me, my future biwi, Madhubala Rishab Kundra ??" He whispered into my ears, smirking as the priest recited the shlokas.

"I cannot because you are taking me away."
