Scene 1 ' A Racing Track

The episode opens at the scene of a go-kart race track with a race ongoing. Four kids produce their advance-booked tickets and get to watch the match ahead of the queue. Eventually, a guy named Rahul and three of his friends turn up and snatch away their tickets, deeming it to be compensation for the damage to Rahul's mobile phone which Monty (one of the kids) had caused earlier. The kids protest against this and explain that the mobile incident was an accident, to no avail. The manager tries fruitlessly to help settle the dispute. The guys claim that go-karting is too tough for kids, and the kids challenge them to a race  saying that whoever wins gets to go-kart first. Rahul picks up the gauntlet, and a race between him and Monty takes place.  Eventually, Rahul's kart crashes into a pile of spare tires and goes flying, sending Rahul smashing headlong into a pole. Everybody is shocked.

Scene 2 ' The Accident Site

Vineet is seen examining the wrecked kart, while Pankaj removes the helmet from Rahul's body. Daya sir reprimands the kids and guys for their recklessness, and the manager for his negligence. They explain that it was an unexpected accident. Pankaj comes up and says that Rahul seems to have suffered an immediately fatal head wound when he crashed into the pole. Vineet says that the kart's controls are perfectly in working order, implying that the unfortunate incident was indeed an accident. Monty, however, claims that it's a murder. He explains that they also had a car accident a few days ago when they'd accompanied Rahul to a movie, though they luckily escaped unhurt. Daya sir finds this suspicious, and asks for Rahul's body and the remains of the kart to be sent to the forensic lab.

Scene 3 ' The Forensic Lab

Dr. Salunkhe and Tarika are seen performing their tests when ACP sir arrives with Shreya and Pankaj. Dr. Salunkhe informs them that he's found a lethal poison named Mangeline (?) in Rahul's blood, which is capable of paralyzing humans within 4-5 minutes. ACP sir construes that somebody must've injected Rahul with this poison 4-5 minutes before the race began, following which Rahul lost control of the kart and had the fatal accident. Dr. Tarika says that the poison would've killed him even if the accident hadn't occurred. ACP sir wonders how somebody managed to poison Rahul when he was in the fast-moving kart.

Scene 4 ' The C.I.D Bureau

In the bureau, Sachin informs ACP sir that according to the kart's speed-monitoring device, Rahul had completed 4 laps around the track and since a single lap takes around 1 minute and 15 seconds, the race lasted for about 5 minutes ' just enough time for the poison to do its job. They wonder who poisoned him, and how without being noticed. Shreya finds out that Rahul was from a middle-class family and a dedicated MBA student, and apparently was in no conflict with anybody. ACP sir says that the two car accidents Rahul was involved in must certainly be connected in some way. Sachin examines a file and remarks that the first accident was due the car's tire bursting on the highway. Shreya adds that Rahul's fastened seatbelt saved his life, and the car is currently being inspected by insurance officials in the garage.

Scene 5 ' The Garage

Daya sir, Fredericks and Vineet meet the kids at the aforementioned garage, and ask for accurate details about what happened on the day of the first accident. Right then, Daya sir's mechanic friend Mangesh turns up; having finished examining the car, he exclaims that the car tire doesn't seem to have been pierced by any object to explain its tube's mysterious bursting. Daya sir asks for the tire tube, and they examine it to confirm this. Daya sir asks for Dr. Tarika to be summoned to the scene for further examination.

Scene 6 - Workspace

Dr. Salunkhe is seen examining the wrecked go-kart, and explains to Sachin and Pankaj that the poison is usually injected by piercing the victim's skin with a needle smeared with it, and such an object could've been easily hidden in the kart. Sachin frets that the pin might've gotten dislodged and lost during the impact of the accident, but Pankaj points out that they had thoroughly searched the entire track and found nothing (how likely is it to find a bleepin' pin on such a large track, though?). Dr. Salunkhe carefully examines every nook and cranny of the kart  and finds nothing, leaving everyone mystified. He decides to check Rahul's clothes, gear and helmet as well.

Scene 7 ' The Garage

Back in the garage, Dr. Tarika is seen examining the tire tube. Daya sir talks to Mangesh, who explains that the car's suspension on the right side had collapsed as well, leading to the screws snapping. Vineet construes that it could've been due to a rise in pressure after the tire going flat, but Mangesh says that that's highly unlikely. He points out that the car had been fitted with size 7 screws, when size 10 was the appropriate one.

Dr. Tarika discovers that the tire tube had actually been filled with gaseous chloroform instead of normal air, and it burst due to the increased pressure during the race. Both these points make it obvious that the car had been intentionally sabotaged. Fredericks wonders who's the person who so badly wished to kill Rahul. Daya sir asks the kids if they'd noticed any suspicious-looking character near the car on the first accident day. One of them says not, but remembers that Ankush (one of Rahul's friends) was supposed to come but had declined at the eleventh hour. Daya sir remarks that this guy was also present during the second accident, and grows suspicious.

Scene 8 ' Workspace

Dr. Salunkhe is seen examining Rahul's clothes. He feels something inside the helmet and manages to extract the poisoned pin from within it. He remarks that the pin was strategically positioned at the back of the helmet so that it pierced Rahul's exposed neck once he wore the helmet. Sachin says that they must find out who did this, and how they knew that Rahul was going to wear this particular hemlet.

Scene 9 ' Ankush's House

Ankush is seen casually telling someone on phone that he disliked Rahul anyway and isn't affected by his death, when he's visited by Daya sir and the others. Ankush tries to appear mournful for Rahul, but Daya sir points out that he had harboured one-way jealousy against Rahul due to them competing in the college elections. They mention his suspicious presence during both accidents and question him fiercely. Ankush admits his less-than-warm thoughts about Rahul but denies having murdered him, saying that he had withdrawn from the elections anyway. Daya sir asks Vineet to contact the college and confirm this, and asks Ankush if he had seen anything suspicious in the go-karting area. Ankush says that he'd visited the place the previous evening and had seen a maintenance fella exiting the go-karts' equipment shed, though normally it should've been vacant. Daya sir finds this intriguing.

Scene 10 ' The C.I.D Bureau

In the bureau, Shreya shows the kids and park manager some footage of the utility shed on the day where this alleged maintenance person was seen. Sachin informs ACP sir that Ankush was indeed being truthful about the elections, and they had not found anything suspicious after thoroughly searching his house either, leading the senior to conclude that they can rule him out as a suspect.

Eventually, the maintenance guy turns up in the footage. The manager says that he's not a member of their staff. ACP sir asks Vineet to look up this dude in their database, and learns from the kids that Rahul only used to go for go-karting after every month or two. They add that they'd chalked out their plan and booked the tickets five days ago. Vineet doesn't find anybody in their criminal database resembling the fake maintenance officer. He wonders how the killer knew that Rahul would sit in kart no. 7 only. One of the kids points out that Monty always used to sit in that kart because he considered 7 to be his lucky number, but on that day Rahul had forcefully occupied it instead after learning this. ACP sir realizes that Monty was the killer's actual target, and his life is still in danger.

Scene 11 ' Inside The Qualis

Shreya tries unsuccessfully to contact Monty's mother. Vineet says that according to Monty's friends, he hangs out at one Rani park during that time every day. Abhijeet sir tells him to hurry over to there, saying that they'll forever be guilt-ridden if the killer manages to harm Monty.

Scene 12 ' The Parkside Road

Monty is seen playing basketball along the side of the road.  An unidentified person in a SUV hits the gas and charges straight at Monty, who's too preoccupied to notice the oncoming attack. At the last moment, Abhijeet sir pushes him out of harm's way and commands Vineet and Shreya to go after the assailant. They charge and fire at the SUV, but it manages to make a getaway. Abhijeet sir swiftly scoops up the unconscious Monty in his arms and hurries on.

Scene 13 ' The Hospital

Shreya tries to console Monty's horrified mother at the city hospital. The doctor comes out and says that Monty has not yet regained consciousness, and his condition remains uncertain and critical. Abhijeet sir concernedly glances at Monty through the door.

Scene 14 ' The C.I.D Bureau

ACP sir asks Monty's friends if something strange had happened to him in the near past. One of them says that a lot of unfortunate things had plagued Monty, and singles out the incident where Monty's cousin Siddharth had taken a bullet aimed at Monty and sacrificed him own life. Rajat remembers this incident and looks up an old news article, which reads that a band of thugs had attacked Siddharth ' who was a famous car race driver ' and his brother Monty when they were returning home, and fatally shot Siddharth after robbing them. Siddharth had managed to valiantly push Monty to safety into a ditch before succumbing to his wounds.  ACP sir remarks that Monty is being targeted as he was the sole witness of this savagery and could thus help in identifying the assailants.

Scene 15 ' Siddharth's House

Sachin and Purvi meet Siddharth's mother. She informs them that Siddharth had been falsely accused of doing drugs sometime ago, which caused him enormous losses. She adds that the reports had turned out to be negative in the end, indicating that somebody had intentionally framed him. She doesn't know about any enemies or potential conflicts of his. Sachin remarks that this drug thing is certainly tied intricately to this case. Purvi goes with the mother to search Siddharth's room, while Sachin receives a call informing him that Siddharth had known a drug peddler named Jackie. They search his room, and Purvi finds passes of one Regency Club. Sachin remarks that this particular club is rumoured to house illegal activities involving peddling drugs to wealthy people. He finds a photo of Siddharth's car racing team, where they see the fake maintenance guy wearing the team's uniform. Sachin says that they must visit Siddharth's office and find out more about this character.

Scene 16 ' Siddharth's Office

Sachin and Purvi inform Siddharth's boss that the robbery was merely an excuse to murder Siddharth. One of his colleagues recognizes the phony maintenance guy as one Rajesh, a former member of their technical team who was fired after Siddharth complained about his irresponsible nature. Purvi wonders if this guy killed Siddharth for revenge, but Sachin says that the motive appears to be quite petty. The colleague provides them with Rajesh's old number, which turns out to be out of service.

Scene 17 ' The Regency Club

Sachin and Purvi intercept and question Jackie at the Regency Club. He repeatedly claims that Siddharth was his regular customer at the club, until Sachin finally loses his temper and switches the interrogation to turbo mode.  Jackie confesses that he'd been paid to plant drugs in Siddharth's house. He provides them the anonymous number from which he'd received the call to do all this. He also tells them that Siddharth used to meet and have lengthy chats with a mafia don named Munna in the Regency Club.

Scene 18 ' The C.I.D Bureau

Pankaj digs up Munna's record and shows ACP sir that he was involved in a plethora of illegal activities. Daya sir wonders why a decent person like Siddharth would get involved with a creep like this. Pankaj says that Jackie must be lying, but Daya sir points out that he wouldn't have told them about that unknown number in that case. Vineet enters and says that this number remains unidentified and unreachable. ACP sir remarks that the mastermind clearly wanted to ravage Siddharth's life, and therefore got Rajesh over to his side and then had Siddharth framed in the drug scandal. He receives a call from the hospital with the news that Monty has finally regained consciousness, and they may meet him. Daya sir gets one too, with information about Munna's whereabouts in one Koliwada (?). ACP sir tells him to capture Munna.

Scene 19 ' Munna's Hideout

Sachin, Purvi and Vineet infiltrate Munna's den and find a multitude of landline connections on his desk. They search the place, and Purvi finds a calendar lavishly marked with details about car races about to take place. Sachin finds a notepad with notes about Munna's shady financial transactions. He deduces that Munna was running a large-scale betting racket in this place. Vineet finds Munna's corpse lying behind some boxes, fatally shot through the chest evidently only a couple of hours ago. Purvi remarks that the killer had found out about their plans, and thus terminated Munna before they could reach and question him. Sachin says that this must be the racket mastermind who used both Siddharth and Munna for his/her gain. Purvi says that this person must be after Monty because he used to accompany Siddharth to all his races, and thus must've certainly seen him/her with Siddharth sometime. Sachin decides to pay Monty a visit.

Scene 20 ' The Hospital

Monty recognizes Munna's photo and says  that he'd seen him with Siddharth during the races. He recalls that he'd once overheard Vikram (Siddharth's boss) harshly threatening Siddharth in Munna's presence, forcing him to do something he didn't want to and support Munna in the same as well. Abhijeet sir says that they need to meet Vikram and find out what this task was.

Scene 21 ' Vikram's House

At Vikram's house, Rajesh suggests that they kill the C.I.D officers to cover their tracks, but Vikram confidently says that he'll bribe them if needed. At this point, Daya sir and the others turn up to arrest them. Vikram casually confesses that he's the mastermind behind Siddharth's murder and the betting racket, and offers to bribe the officers if they let him go and frame Rajesh alone instead. Unsurprisingly, his plan spectacularly backfires in a painful manner.

Vikram admits that Siddharth was involved in the betting racket and used to intentionally lose or win the races as required.  Eventually, he decided to quit and threatened to expose the racket if Vikram didn't shut it down. And therefore, Vikram orchestrated the fake robbery and murdered Siddharth. However, Monty survived to bear witness and he enlisted Rajesh's help to deal with him. They murdered Munna to further cover up their tracks. Daya sir condemns their vicious crimes, and announces that they'll soon find themselves in the gallows.

Scene 22 ' The Hospital

Monty is fully recovered and preparing to go home. Abhijeet sir and Shreya visit Monty, who is preparing to go home and surrounded by his friends. They praise his bravery, and he thanks them for their support. Abhijeet sir advises them to be brave only when genuinely needed, and not to be provoked into recklessness.  The episode ends with the usual medal awarding/cheering scene.
