Envy

Khushi in the arms of another man,so happy...

Arnav's jealous heart did disagree,

A moment of relief ...but it wasn't to be.

Her radiant smile for NK, he did see,

Whilst exchanging pleasantries ~

He heard her being called "jalebi"

Their familiarity making him feel empty!

Never before had he felt so much envy.

His medical condition ,

So opposite to Nk's disposition ,

His thoughts he curbed, before they caused more destruction.

His heart would not accept this deviation.

Arnav was proving to be a contradiction,

When suddenly he asked the surprising question-

It was impulsive, but caused him realisation

That for Jalebi he felt more than attraction!

While our Khushi tried to hide her glee,

At being the object of his curiosity.

Anguish and turmoil he felt acutely,

Confused emotions laced with jealousy,

Just would not set him free,

Till he realised to his heart she held the keys,

For all her happiness he wanted the reason to be!

With his actions, he tried hard to hide his envy

Keeping her away from the enemy,

Making sure everyone was kept very busy.

Stealing moments to be together, were seen Arnav & Khushi,

His need to explore their undeniable chemistry

Became to him an urgent , immediate necessity !

Tonight- his plans he would execute at the party.

Khushi was nervous and anxious as could be,

While thinking of how he praised her beauty,

She dressed her best looking innocent and sexy!

The tables turned , the perfect setting for her envy,

Silent looks and gazes could not help erase the memory,

Of seeing him clinging on to somebody.

Mesmerised by this vision in red, he was in agony,

Her indifference , when all he wanted was their unity,

Unnoticed by her, did not go his irritability,

When with his nemesis her, he did see!

She did not want to waste this opportunity

Dancing, with others

Their eyes still spoke of jealousy.

Envious of piercing eyes on Khuhsi,

He pulled her away from dangerous territory .

In a secluded corner he questioned her with authority,

Why did it matter so much to him?- She wanted clarity...

A kiss on her lips silenced her effectively

Their heart beats in perfect symmetry !

With this we leave them in privacy!

Great update...Envy definitely works well for both of them!

I really like the way you alternate viewpoints between the two for the same situations. I feel like I know exactly what's going on in both of their minds that way!
