TOI: Asima Bhalla with Karan V Grover??

We had earlier reported that Karan V Grover, currently seen in Hum Aapke Hain In-laws, has been almost finalised to play the male lead. And now, we've been informed that actress Ashima Bhalla has been chosen to play the female lead. Karan and Ashima will take it forward from Gurmeet and Kratika.

Interestingly, Karan and Ashima have already played a couple in Star Plus' Meri Awaaz Ko Mil Gayyi Roshni (2008).

Informs a source, "While Karan has been a favourite with the makers and is as good as finalised, they are taking some time to freeze the lead actress. Ashima has surged ahead of her contemporaries to bag the part."

Producer Sumeet Mittal said, "Nothing is finalised as yet."

Ashima Bhalla is Karan's former co star of his second serial so they know each other well and that's great if she is playing the female lead in PV 2.

I was wondering how come this actress looks familiar. I checked out and she have also acted in movies including Tamil movies.

Ashima is very good friend of karan... in fact both r looking good to each other...
