Model-turned-actor Sudeep Sahir plays the lead role in the daily soap Ayushmaan (Sony).

was earlier seen as Addy in Kyun Hota Hai Pyarr (Star Plus). He has
featured as the bridegroom in the De Beers Heera hai tu ad as well as
the Motorola prepaid ad. He also featured in Kunal Ganjawala's music
video Channa Vey and in Saregama HMV's Odhni.
Sahir also flew
with Jet Airways for one-and-a-half years. "I was modelling and flying
at the same time, till I decided to take up acting," he says. Here are

What is your star sign?
Sagittarius.
Do you believe in astrology and numerology?
I do. In astrology.
Where were you born, and which school did you go to?
In New Delhi, I attended the Air Force Golden Jubilee School.
For what did you get your first pay cheque and how much?
When I was in class eight, I set up a stall at the school's Diwali mela. I earned Rs 3,000 for it.
What one thing are you really bad at doing?
Lying — you can see it by just looking at my face!
What do you wear at home?
Jeans, T-shirts.
What mobile phone do you use?
A Sony Ericsson T610.
What's your favourite smell?
The aroma of gobi ka parathas.
Where in Mumbai would you rather be staying?
In Bandra. Right now I stay at Four Bungalows.
How often do you say "I love you"?
On-screen several times to my co-star; off-screen to my father, mother, sisters and to those I really, really love.
