Viren entered the house at around 10 PM. It was quite late, around the time everyone was getting ready to go to bed. These days Viren would come home this late just because of Riya. I mean after all he had gone through the same situation as her. He was able to get Jeevika out of the phase, and now he was hoping to do the same for Riya. He wanted to see his friends happy. Viren knew that he had his loving family that helped him and Jeevika cope up with the loss of their child, and now he wanted to do the same. Be the family for his friends. Viren entered the corridors of the Vadhera mansion to see Virat and Manvi sitting on the sofa. They were both drinking coffee and just talking. They saw Viren and both of them got up and walked towards them.
viren - "Virat, Manvi where is Jeevika?"
manvi - "I think she's gone to sleep jiju. Is everything okay? You've been coming home late these days"
viren - "Yeah you remember my friends Riya and Sambhav? Well they don't really have anyone here. So I go in the mornings to help them out. Plus his wife is going through a lot after her miscarriage. So then I go to office late and get caught up with all my work. That's basically it"
manvi - "I hope she gets better. Loosing a child is hard, and no one would know as much as you and di"
Viren looked down getting a little emotional, but tried controlling himself.
viren - "I'll go and check on Jeevika"
virat - "Okay bhai' Do you want any coffee or anything?"
viren - "I'm okay. You two go sleep now too"
virat - "Yeah bhai, we're going. Goodnight"
The three of them smiled and headed in opposite ways.
Viren opened the door to his room and saw it all dark. He switched on the lights to see Jeevika on the chair. She was asleep with her hair covering over her face. Maybe thats why Viren was unable to see her swollen eyes. Viren kept his bag on the other chair and went to pick up Jeevika, carefully placing her on the bed. He covered her up with the blanket, tightly making sure she wouldn't feel cold or get sick with the cold breeze coming through the room. He then went to go change and get comfortable. He freshened up coming back into the room and texting his friends making sure they were all right in their new house. He got a text back saying they were alright. Viren smiled and then turned off the lights to go to sleep. He lay down when he felt Jeevika's arm. Something felt weird, he didn't know what it was. He turned the lights on, and then over at Jeevika. He saw scars all over her arms. He was shocked at seeing this. What was going on? How did this happen'. These scars were hard, thats why Viren felt them. That means something happened a while ago that Viren was unaware of. Viren tightly held onto Jeevika holding her in his arms and went to sleep.
