the 3 Gods and all the devtaas held a secret meeting at Kailashparavt where they decide to worship MA DURGA and request her to kill mahishasur as he cud only be killed by a woman...

they all start chanting Ma Durgas name ...MA DURGA appears ...and says that she need all the powers of all devtaas and the 3 Gods to kill mahishasur...

the 3 Gods and all the devtaas give their powers to Ma Durga ...Ma Durga sucked all the powers

Precap - they are conflating Mahishashur's story w/ that of Shumbha?  It was Shumbha who wanted to marry her.  When Ma Durga invaded Mahishashur, she simply reminded him of his wish to be killed only by a woman.

I've read somewhere on net, Mahishasur wants to marry Ma Durga. so here they are showing Katyayani. It was Katyayani who killed Mahishasur. Shumbha is another story. May be this show will end with Katyayani killing Mahishasur.
