WHY are we mad at Pia today??

Hi everyone!

Here are Pia's line quoted word to word, after she hears Rano and Bani talk:

Rano kyu di ko, us insaan ke paas, waapis jaane ko keh rahi hai, jis insaan ne nashe ke halat mein, apne hosh o havaas kho kar, meri di ko barbaad kar diya? Jis takleef se di guzar rahi hai, uska ehaas kisi ko nahi hai. Bina kisi rishte ke maa banne ki sharm, koi chhoti baat nahi hai. Mr. Walia ki nafrat aur apmaan se nikal ne ke baad, mein di ko kabhi us nark mein wapas jane ke liye majboor nahi karungi, mein kabhi di par wapas lautne ki liye koi dabav nahi dalungi, Never.

In English: How can someone still sympathize with the man who has betrayed her? (Here Pia is referring to Bani who has been betrayed by Jai, according to her.) What does she have left for life, when life itself has trampled her like a storm does? Both life, and Mr. Walia havent had anything to offer to 'di'. Why is Rano insisting that Bani di return to the man who has destroyed my sister's life in a state of intoxication? No one can feel the pain that 'di' is experiencing. The shame due to becoming a mother, without any true relation, is not a small issue. I will never pressurize di to return to that hell after she has left Mr. Walia's hatred and insults behind her. Never.

Thats a word to word, literal translation of Pia's words. Pia hasnt said anything wrong. She has said everything keeping in mind what she thinks is the truth. She hasnt seen the highs and lows of their relationship like Rano has, and neither has Bani ever confided in Pia of her love for Jai, as she did in Rano. No wonder Rano wants her sister to return to her love. But since Pia thinks that Jai has formed a relationship with Bani without her conscious consent, she is reacting the way anyone else would.

All Im saying is that, TODAY, Pia hasnt said anything wrong or acted like an air head. What the future holds, in regards to Pia's actions, only the creatives know. But never once did Pia refer to Jai as the man who once loved her. That is the misunderstanding many on this forum have had today. Today she spoke of him only as the man who has wronged her sister. She was just being protective about her fragile and heart broken sister in her soliloquy.

Tomorrow Pia may turn against Bani, accuse Puskar of cheating her with Bani, or try to seduce Jai. If she commits any such lunacy, I will be the first one to stand up and bash her left, right, and center. Its not like I am a big fan of hers anyway...In fact, she can easily turn me off! But today, she shouldnt have been criticized.

The biggest mistake Pia is making is assuming. She said, " No one can feel the pain that Bani is going through." How ironical that she is also among those who do not understand what Bani is going through- "The man she hates the most is also the one she loves the most." But this is the overall picture. Pia is wrong in assuming when all the situations are observed panoramically.

But when we zoom in, and hold her truth as The Truth for a moment, then today she wasn't wrong, neither wa she self-centered. She was thinking for Bani. When she didnt even mention herself as Jai's ex, there is no question that she was bothered about Jai not loving her anymore.

That doesnt disquailify the possiblitiy that Pia may think so tomorrow. But today, its only about today. My post is only about today.

Ok, now Im gonna go lock myself in a weapon-proof room and await brickbats, and dandas.

i like your analisys from your word i can understand that pain one sister is having for another sister who have been through so much
and she always asked bani to finish her relation with mr walia in beginign also you people might remember when ranveer trap her in money scandle and jai told her all nasty things and throw out of the house and bani went back for masi at that timea lso pia was totaly disagree with bani that she should have not gone there and finish her relation with this kind of egoistic and nasty person who only think of him self only before everybody

i have not seen last few epi as in singapore we are week behind but from update also i can tel that right now also jai is being selfish he is thining of himself as he cannot live without bani and as bani is bearing his child that is praciouse to him . so not accepting his feeling towords bani so
i think as pia does nto knwo the development of relation between J and B must react that way it is very obviouse

though girls how selfish jai might be or angry still i adore him a lot 😳

you asked for it jojo.....thats Pia's problem i think she always assumes....why does she not open her eyes and see whats happening rather than assumptions. She says she cares for her di so much ... at times i am confused with her so called love because she does not understand the pain that her di is undergoing.....

I think you are right but I am tooooooo engrossed thinking about Jai and what HE is going through to think about Pia and her emotions even for a second.

But very well defined and I am utterly impressed by the translation 😉

also bani has never confided her feelings for jai to pia like she did to rano....

so pia is assuming what she could make out most that jai took the advantage of bani's drugged condition..and she is supporting her sister in her decision to stay apart from jai....

you are rite jojo agree with you, even i was thinking the same.

All said and done my only wish is neither Bani nor JW let anyone interfere in their relationship-not even as a mediator. Agar mein yeh haak kisi ko bhi deti hoon-toh woh sirf mausi hain. Baaki koi nahi (heck not even Aditya---cuz he's gotta deal w/Jigs). And Pia...she falls in the same books as Jigs and Roshni when it comes to the idea of mediating between JW and Bani.

Tomm or the day after or the day after that if Pia decides to defend her di or go on another verbal rampage against JW (using her useless assumptions) then I won't be surprised as I don't expect more from her...but I hope Bani will set it straight that it's between her and her husband and she will deal with it. Watever right Pia had to say (such harsh) stuff to JW she lost the day she left him.

But I beg to differ here..U see the main problem with Pia is that she never tries to understand the other person's feelings, she only ASSUMES everything!! Agreed that she has'nt seen what'd been going on in the Walia house between Jai & Bani and how their relationship has developed after she went out of the picture, but did she even try to ask her Di once about how she felt about him, or what does she really want?? She just goes barging in making accusations, all based on her own assumptions!!

I personally feel what Pia does or thinks is almost never right!! well atleast so far that's what I've seen..her basic thinking itself is so self-centred and according to her the whole universe revolves around her, and everything is always about her!! 😡

But all said and done, you did present a very strong case for Pia! 😊
