Melody is life of a composition. Now songs come for while only. After a few days nobody remember it. So where the melody has gone?

btw, I dont think that the melody is lost
there are a number of songs now also that are very melodious and remain in our minds for a long long time
I know they can't be compared to the oldies goldies but I find beautiful melodies in some songs even today......

yeah i agree with V bhai completely, there are some songs in this era which are very special to me and im sure to all others aswell 😊😉

i agree with what everyone has said...the melody isnt gone...there are still
songs made these days which we dont forget right away...

Well......If I'd say 60's,70's songs were melodious -----den it will b no *Wrong*!!! Ya ofcrse,we DO have our own choices.....if today u say u lyk 60's ,70's songs n den u listen 2 it infront of 2day's gen. ...u knw wat wud dey say? ----hve u grown dis much old??....Oldie!!!! --ya dats wat dey wud xactly say!But....ofcrse..there IS sumthing 4 sure in dast oldy songs.......sumtimes its da tune ,The Melody......sumtimes its da Lyrics.....1 thing or da other---BUT it Does have sumthing@!!!! ven i lyk listening 2 dese... being a teenager...i;ve been listening 2 songs lyk Kora kagaz tha ye man mera ,naam gum jayega ......,baghoon mein bahar hai ,chokar mere mann ko...............!!--it means they HAVE sumthing dat attracts da younger gen. even though dese songs r much much be4 our Births!!😉 yaa ....cuz i lyk kishore DA and he departed frm dis world ,be4 my birth.......ya i guess so k he wsn;t HERE in da 19th century....or 1980's...!! okm ok..well wern't 2 discuzz abt dis..---da question is of MELODY..

Wat is it in *OLD SONGS*??? ---ofcrse nothing but....The Melody...!!! even i sumtimes think kk 2day's songs r reallly nt comparable 2 da old ones or 2 songs sung by GR8 sinegrs lyk Kishore da,Mohd Rafi ..Lata ji....n etc...!! Y?? why ?-----------Becuz ....Sumthing...sumthing is really there in old songs.......which is NOT dere in 2day's song....sumthing is lost ,we r missing sumthing....though we njoy dem but stilll nt dat much lyk we do njoy old songs...........

I sumtimes feel ,all da gud ,bestest songs were in da 50's,60's n 70's........nw if we feeel k ya gud songs r beng made or sumthing lyk dat...den i feel k NO....dey r in 1 way or da other *Copied* frm da olf songs..dats y we feel da so called Melody in it....---------Agar tum mil jao...zamana chor denge hum-----No dis is not an Indian song......nt da latest 1 though.............---------It's been copied...YES,,,*Copied* frm an oldd 60's ,70's coloured Pakistani movie........!!!!!!!! yea i saw dis song on a Paki channel,wen it ws aired in b/w an actress's interview on which da song ws picturised......and da muzik ws same,da wrding 2..i didn;t listen 2 da whole song ...only da strting ws shown but.....it ws An Old Paki song...!!! though da diff. is only dis k wo old song zra fast number tha....uski kch beat thi,,,,,,indian one's is a bit slow...! ----------------------So oofcrse Melody isn;'t dere in 2day's songs....NO WAY! No way!..........

i think.i feeel.......Melody ws meant 2 b in da old songs..........!! dey had 'feel ',rhythem......and....................Melody!

I think i know wats missing EvilG! 😛 In olden people use to say things in indirectly ..in different words (but u use to get the meaning) so it wasnt considered bad to "hear"..these days the hindi used is very "simple" is it ia direct throw on audience and it doesnt really "sound" rite to older people but good for new generation pfcourse ..hopefully u got the meaning! 😛

The best song of that Era, keep coming on Radio, TV, and in Collection CD/cassette. so u listen to that. Rafi, mukesh,Lata,kishore sang thousands of songs, and u take examples of some of their BEST..and then compare with today's song.
That's not a right comparison.

That Era too has not-so-good song, they just got filtered out with the time. Noone can beat some of the old songs and many old singers. But it doesn't mean that only they cud have melody. and there is no melody in today's song.

okie not all, but if u don't find any melody in Not even one song of Rehman, jatin lalit, Ismail Darbaar songs.

Not at all!! its nt dat i've listened 2 dem .,,...da gr8 singer's song only in cassssettes,cd's avaialbe nw.....i;ve dwnlded dem....i;ve searched uopn dese singers..especially Kishore Da...n i dnt think i;ve only da best ones......if my song's folder is full wid hs songs,dat doesn't mean dey r all bestt!!! i dnt knw which song gt da award.......bt in my view ,evry song of him ....dat jst moves me....make me hear it again n again.....is ofcrse da awarded 1...n dey rn;t a few...dey r many!!

There's no new touch or old touch...its realy abt da tune,The melody.........da song which gives u this...is a SONG in its real term!!!
