He dsnt love her yet, but he cant stay away from her...an invisible string binds them and he'll realize his love for her once something major happens. In mangalpur he realized she meant a lot to him but has he mentally accepted that? no he has not. The min they got back he tried to fix the fact that he lost 'control' of his emotions.

AAK dsn't like loosing control of anything (not matter's at work, not personal issues- to the extent that he goes ahead and sets barriers e.g najma & zoya to come home on time to prevent things from potentially getting out of hand.) He is a fixer and likes to keep control at all times in order to fix & protect what he cares for and to prevent losses.

In this case he is fixing his wandering heart from possible 'Zoya invasion' and when he is saying she's not the right fit or is batameez or not marriage material, all he is doing is (even at a subconscious level) controlling his feelings for for from taking over him.

He rationalizes by instinct and is doing so even when intoxicated but he actions speak louder than his words. He is not liking this because to he feels that once you loose control you are left un-protected and vulnerable & of all the things in the world he does not want to loose his heart!

The entire forum is raving about how 'epic' this episode was and my Q is exactly whats so epic about a guy 'Not being able to handle his hormones' getting all wet & intimate with a girl he confesses attraction too and then waves it off by say hey - too bad but you are just not marriage material!

Yes it left a bad taste in the mouth to hear Asad sl*gging off Zoya. He wasn't just mean, at times he was downright nasty like when he made the comment abt Zoya's parents or when he judged her unworthy of being a wife or daughter-in-law. Yes he's fighting his own wayward emotions - and I am glad that his newly awakened feelings are giving him pain - but he was brutally uncharitable. I feel sorry for him because clearly there is a lot of pain headed his way before he reconciles his heart and mind. I hope Zoya doesn't take it into her head to prove him wrong about that wife/d-i-l comment and marry the next half-eligible man she meets (Ayaan). Damn! Damn! Damn!
