We made another call to Optimystix, production house of "chanchan/mordern bahu" and they informed us tat, there have been last minute changes and varun kapoor is not finalised for the role. They will announce the main lead tmrw:) and

I agree with your notion that Barun would not want to play a supporting role in the serial

But I disagree that Sanaya was a secondary role in Iss Pyaar. Both her and Barun were equally important and were main leads in the show. I dont think either one of them outshone the other. Khushi was just as integral to the story as Arnav was.

That being said, I don't think Barun would ever want to play a supporting role of a show when he worked at the same level alongside the main lead.
