Hello guys,
I am just so sick and tired of this show. I still watch it to kill time but in all honesty I am unable to understand what is it that the CVs want.
Now, every show that is on air wants their TRPs to be on the rise. But, the way the track is going I don't think they even care about the TRPs anymore. If they cared about the TRPs they wouldn't keep us Arvians hanging for so long. So many people stopped watching the show. So many people left the forum. It is not fair to people who stood around for so long just for one glimpse of Arjun and Purvi together.
I am just sick of watching Purvi in the bengali attire. She is beautiful but that's not her. She needs to go back to her original look. I really mean it.
I understand that Arjun and Ovi are married now. But, it is not fair to the Onir, Ovi and rest of the people in the show if their love story is hanging around but Arjun is pretending to be in love with Ovi. Purvi is holding hands with Onir, crying with him but won't give him the recognition as her husband.

The point of this show is :
Purvi : Mahan Mata
Arjun: Lover boy
Ovi: Turned negative for her love
Onir: Good Husband

Instead it's coming off like this :
Purvi: Selfish
Arjun: Weak
Ovi: Real
Onir: Confused

My reason for calling Purvi selfish is that she asked Arjun to sacrifice his love for her mother. Then he asked her to consummate his marriage to Ovi. Then she left. Then she came back for Ovi's treatment. In all this, did she once think about Arjun? Arjun literally went crazy due to Ovi. Ovi made his life hell. Just consummating a marriage will not make the marriage "pavitra" the love has to be there. Then Purvi came back. Did she once think about Onir? Onir loved Kolkata. It was not fair for him to move around so much. Who asked Purvi to take responsibility for everything that goes wrong in the world? It was Ovi and Arjun's child. Let them manage it. If she really wanted to stay away she would not return. Onir came for Ovi's treatment. She could have just sent him giving her "kasam" and all.

Arjun : Weak. A guy who grew up in Canada. He is an accomplished business man. How can he surrender to a stupid wish like this? Is marriage a game? He could have played games with Ovi. He could have promised to marry her. Or, he could have done a fake marriage. But, no he had to do it. Then, he became Ovi's puppet. Why couldn't he be straight forward for once and for all? Even after their marriage? He could have told her that he doesn't love her. Never loved her and never will. It's not fair to Ovi maybe she would move on.

Ovi : I know everyone thinks she is wrong. But, I would probably do the same if I were her (marrying Arjun) but after that when I knew he rejected me several times I wouldn't do it. She deserves to move on and she should go back to Canada.

Onir : Onir, before it was just Arjun. Now, even you have become Purvi mata's puppy. WHY? You should stand up for yourself. Sacrifice for the people who deserve it. You are a doctor. Now where is his profession stuff? He doesn't go to London or L.A like he used to ( like we saw after the leap) now he is serving the Deshmukhs.

This is what doesn't make sense to me : Arjun ; an accomplished business man in Canada. He left all his business in Canada so that he can do what? Hang between two sisters? Ovi ; left her modelling career which was on the rise to become pregnant at the age of 20 and fighting with her sister for her love? Onir ; a successful doctor is not paying much attention to his profession just to bow down in front of his so called wife's wishes? and Purvi, she is not loyal to anyone except Archana. And what does Archana do for her? Archana always chose Ovi over Purvi.

I don't have any problem with the show. But , what bothers me is the show is losing grab from reality. PR , when it was revolving all around Manav and Archana (before the leap) made sense. It was a show people could relate to. When Archana lost her baby, or the not so highly educated Archana got married to Manav when he lied to her ( people so experience it).

Who can say that they experience a Purvi-Arjun-Ovi like love triangle in real life? Who can say that their sister who got married to a renowned doctor (having affair with her husband previously) needs her sister's husband as her doctor because no other doctor in India is so highly qualified? This show is filled with co incidences. I mean I don't understand is the whole world only cantered around the Deshmukhs?

Very good post. CVs need a touch of reality in the show. Its too much fiction. We all cannot identify with the story or parts of it because it is overly unreal and out of touch with the real world. How can you gain audience if they cannot relate to your story.

It a serial, yes!!!! but still the writers actors have to be real life characters.
