Jacqueline enjoys her 'date' with the youth brigade
By Seema Sinha, TNN | Jan 28, 2013, 12.10 PM ISTWhile Sushant displayed his dancing skills to great aplomb, good-natured and sporting Jacqueline showed her sensitive and humorous side as well. When a young male fan of the actress removed a Rs 500 note to take her autograph, Jacqueline refused politely and instead borrowed a piece of paper from a guest's notebook and autographed on that. When a contestant from Hyderabad said that it was the red-light district and the things happening there fascinated him about the city, Jacqueline quickly posed the next question -"So did things happen to you?" leaving the audience in splits.
However, choreographer Marc Robinson couldn't resist pulling her leg regarding her link-up with director Sajid Khan which Jacqueline took sportingly. Armed with a mischievous grin while Marc Robinson asked the Fresh Face winner Siddhant Chaturvedi where he would take Jacqueline on a romantic date and what will he do with her, Marc also reminded Siddhant about a certain Sajid Khan's existence in the industry. Jacqueline was seen laughing and clapping non-stop at this. "I enjoyed interacting with the youth of today," she smiled.
At the Clean & Clear Times of India Fresh Face 2012 finale in Mumbai, Namrata Sheth from Mumbai's St Xavier's College and Siddhant Chaturvedi from Mithibai College were declared the national winners. Eleven boys and 14 girls, including three wildcard entries, from across 11 cities participated in the national pageant, which was judged by actors Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez, as well as choreographer Marc Robinson. The contestants were dressed in outfits by Nishka Lulla and Narendra Kumar. DJ Akhtar and Euphoria performed during the evening.
