So glad my exams are over! I can finally relax!...and write!

However despite the rubbish response I get I decided to upload anyway as it makes me happy to write and is a very big stress reliever for me!

Thank you to all of you who have supported me throughout this story! I am considering to discontinue seeing as hardly anyone is interested!

Chapter 24:

It was next day and everyone was going to Chandigarh for the engagement, the vadhera's had convinced the Choudhary's to hold all the wedding ceremonies in Chandigarh and the Chaudhary's couldn't refuse. Everyone was doing their final packing while viren had finished quickly with a hope that he would be able to spend time with jeevika. He went and hid behind the bus that they were going to travel in and texted jeevika.

'Behind bus. NOW!'

He was too impatient to write properly as he just wanted to be with her. Jeevika had just about finished packing when she received the text. She was initially confused and shocked at his text and didn't understand, she was staring at her phone when Manvi peeped over her shoulder reading the text before bursting out in laughter startling jeevika!

Manvi: Aww! Jeeju is so cute! On one hand he is trying to romance like a boyfriend, on the other hand he is ordering like a husband! You found yourself a multitalented guy di!

Jeevika: Maaanvii!!... I think it's urgent...i need to go!

Manvi: Of course! Romance is always urgent!

Jeevika: Shut up!

Manvi: Im joking! You go and Ill handle things here!

Jeevika: Thanks meri pyaari behna!

Jeevika goes quickly so that no one could see her, she goes to bus but found the place deserted. She started looking around for viren but couldn't find him, she was a little dejected but suddenly she felt a sharp pull, as viren pulled her hand so that they were both behind the bus unseen.

Jeevika: VIREN!!! you scared me!

Viren: sorry!...anyway why did you take so long!

Jeevika: Long? It's only been 5 minutes since you sent the text!

Viren: 5 WHOLE MINUTES!!! Jeevika these 5 minutes seemed like forever!

Jeevika: really?...Dramebaaz!

Viren: Dramebaaz Huh?! Now I'll tell you!

He immediately grabbed her by the waist pulling her closer and turned her around pinning her to the bus, their faces just inches apart.

Jeevika: Vi...viren...what are you doing?

Viren: what I need to do

Jeevika: Meaning?

Viren: meaning I'm claiming what is rightfully mine

Before jeevika could answer he started approaching her lips, jeevika understood his intentions and tried to push him back but couldn't as he was too strong. Just as their lips were about to touch, she covered his lips with her palm and slightly pushed him back. Viren was irritated by this move and gave her an annoyed look, to which jeevika slightly smiled.

Jeevika: Shaadi ke baad!

Viren: but we are going to get married...

Jeevika: but we are not married!

Viren: you will have to pay for this!

Jeevika: I will, in my own way!

Viren: No in my way!

Jeevika: And what is that?

Viren: you will find out soon enough, then you will realise what a big mistake you have made!

Jeevika: We'll see!

Viren: Yes we will!

They gave each other a competitive look, folding their arms as if they were rivals. After a few seconds they both burst out into laughter not being able to believe how childish they were!

Jeevika: You know viren, I actually don't remember the last time in these two years in which both me and my family were this happy! It's all because of you!...I love you!

Viren smiled and jeevika leaned in to hug him when he held her shoulders stopping her.

Viren: Shaadi ke baad!

Jeevika understood what he was trying to get at and countered back.

Jeevika: Your choice!

Viren was slightly shocked as he didn't expect her to say that! Jeevika was about to leave when viren grabbed her hand and pulled her close, engulfing her in a tight hug. Jeevika smiled as her little scheme worked and tightened the hug. They didn't realise when they had lost themselves in the hug until jeevika's phone beeped. She broke the hug and checked the message on her phone from Manvi telling her that everyone was on their way! Jeevika immediately ran back inside without looking back at viren who tired stopping her, but soon stopped calling her name as he realised that the rest of the family were coming out, and jeevika was behind following them. He was looking at jeevika when she secretly winked at him, he then realised her sudden escape and thanked god that they weren't caught!

Everyone got on the bus and viren tried to sit next to jeevika but was stopped by dadaji.

Dadaji: Viren! You and jeevika can't meet until the engagement!

Viren: What! Why dadaji?

Dadaji: Because I said so! Now go and sit next to virat!

Viren: ji

Viren made a sad face and went and sat next to virat, jeevika smirked at him, but soon her smile became a frown as she realised what dadaji had said. She couldn't meet him until the engagement, how was she supposed to stay without seeing him??? She got lost in her thoughts as viren kept trying to catch glimpses of her but kept failing as she was facing the window. Soon enough everyone had slept, except Manvi and viren, as they were all tired because of the roka, viren took the chance and asked to swap places with Manvi. She teased him a little but let him sit next to jeevika. In her sleep jeevika rested her head on his shoulder to which viren happily accepted. He also rested his head on hers and was stroking her hair, tucking it behind her ears as it was disturbing her sleep and with her with him he also fell asleep. After a few hours they were about to reach their destination. Manvi noticed that everyone would wake up soon and so woke up viren quickly but accidently also woke up jeevika too. Jeevika woke up and was shocked to see viren next to her. She was about to panic but realised that everyone was sleeping as so she just made a worried look. Viren quickly exchanged seats with Manvi and after half an hour or so everyone woke up. The vadhera's went into the vadhera mansion but the chaudhary's went to stay in the guest house, which made jeevika and viren even more upset!
