The pheras are symbolic: If you remember in the four phera marriage, R.K walks in front and clasps Madhu's hand so his pheras were done then and in the ruins Madhu takes the lead for three pheras.
To me they have completed their saat pheras plus oneđ as their love is like the eight wonders in the world.
Madhu and R.K are husband and wife...
