My son had the same problem -- he was not familiar with Hindi... so used to watch Cartoon Network etc... and when we moved to Mumbai.. he stopped those too as they come in Hindi here... now sonny boy is only on the Comedy channel! He used to like Hindi songs ( once he picked up some Hindi)... but is into Western Classical now!!

Sonny boy is happy that I am not watching a Hindi serial/desi serial now:-)

My girls are also the same. Will keep on watching the cartoon network and are happy relaxing. I doubt they catching up on Hindi. Sometimes I miss it because I wanted them to know at least the classics in Hindi but looks like that's not happening any time soon. Even my kids are very happy as mommy doesn't have any serial to watch now.
