I saw the BBC adaptation part yesterday till where I read. It was very nice. I didn't want to see the parts that I haven't read yet.

Seeing the video gave me a better description of the characters.

I love the BBC adaptation. Now whenever I read the book I see the actors there. They have all done a wonderful job.
But Charlotte Lucas I personally thought was a bit too good looking in the adaptation, I felt the one in the movie more like the character I had envisioned reading the book.

BTW are we at the third chapter currently?

Welcome Supriya.

Aditi u joining?

So, the Bingley sisters, like Darcy, don't think too highly of the place and the Bennets but they still liked Jane.

Darcy thinks Jane smiles a lot... Lol...
With respect to Bingley sisters it will soon be revealed.

Ok.. I read chapter 4 and 5 and this is what I thought..

Jane is naive and does not think bad of anyone whereas Lizzy is more someone who perceives people in a better way. Lizzy does not have a good opinion about the Bingley sisters whereas Jane does not find any fault in their behavior.

Darcy and the Bingley sisters do not hold high opinion of the Bennets either like Bingley.

Are Jane and Bingley supposed to be same in nature, that they don't think bad of anybody and try to be agreeable and favorable to everybody in their manners ?

His sisters were anxious for his having an estate of his own; but, though he was now only established as a tenant,

I understand that Bingley bought that house and he came in this neighborhood for the same. The sisters want him to have an estate of his own. I don't understand what the bold part means.
