i dont know about ego issues and polarity stuff but yes i like him alot...a find him much better than the other Indian cricketers who show aggressive and offensive behaviour (no offence)
i never heard him name calling or bad mouthing anyone on or off the field and that makes him special
Imran Khan won the cup for Pak way back in 1992 and people respect him a lot,perhaps that's why cricketers tend to retire on a high note so as to remain great in people's perceptions
if Dhoni had got retired at that time Indians would have been worshiping him..but he didnt so he has to earn the bashing..why on earth people forget that it is a game where one has to win and one has to lose...what's the big deal..see the performance of the players
same goes for Pak,if Pak loses the series..it may be the last appearance of Afridi...they already didnt select him in ODIs...forgetting what he did for the country...i dont like him as a cricketer though
its sad that we dont respect our stars
