I don't like the way Kokila has reacted to Ahem going missing.
So far she has been shown to be the strong pillar of the Modi family, overbearingly confident of herself and her opinion. Almost always enforcing her decisions on the entire family including the men, in spite of living in a male dominated society.
Now suddenly, she is shown to be shattered and totally overcome with grief, self doubt and has given up on a situation where she would have herself taken the lead.
Was this done because of convenience maybe because the actress and entire cast could not travel to Bhuj???
Whatever the reasons, to see Kokila sobbing, weak and helpless does not go down very well.
And the pathetic attempts of the family to get her out of her panic attacks are even more dismal to watch.
The good that has come out of all this is that I loved Kinjal's role in getting close to Kokila. I hope we see more mother daughter moments that may bridge the gap between them.
