Khushi:sir thank you for the lift.she said almost murmuring he looked at her and said
ASR:miss Gupta take a leave.
she looked at him shocked he was giving her leave,who always tried to give her more and more work so she was bussy on most of the sundays also and now what made him think this and be so nice to her she thought to herself and murmured slightly
Khushi:khushi you are dreaming for sure because this laad governer would never give you a leave.which he didn't heard fortunately
ASR:yeah miss Gupta take a leave of two or three days okay.you need a brake so take rest and then come to office he said casually but for her this was the biggest shock of the day but no she remembered that he has decreased her pay which meant a lot to her.she turned and went inside the building while he gazed at her till she was out of sight.____________________________________
Riya gave an audible sigh of relief as she saw khushi entering their flat.
Riya:thanks god you are home khushi.at least you should have picked our call texted that you'll be late..do you know how tensed we were till aman told us that you are with sir for some work.Riya uterred as she hugged khushi tightly.
khushi was confused upon hearing this.
Khushi:aman told what??she asked totally confused
Riya:that you and sir have some important work to finish thats why you are late.but khushi why you didn't tell us yarr? you know how worried we were?and you needed to go to the hospital also.
Riya started blabbering nonstop
Laa:okay riya now stop this chit chat let her rest yarr look she is so tired let her sleep.don't you think so?
lavanya questioned to Riya.to which she pouted and khushi smiled softly
Khushi:yeah am tired but first i want to eat something you know am very hungry.
at this statement both riya and lavanya looked at each other confusingly
Riya:you didn't had your Dinner?
Laa:ASR didn't ordered something for you to eat?how is it possible?
both asked puzzled
Khushi:thats because i was not with him.i was in hospital to see bauji and how the time passed i just don't know.khushi exclaimed tired
Riya:so at this hour of night you came all alone?are you nuts?
Laa:okay she is home now don't be over protective okay.
lavanya said trying to light up the atmosphere to which riya burst out angrily
Riya:what do you mean by over protective?she is my child hood friend.who will worry for her if i don't? you think she is modern like you?no she is not she don't know how to deal with any wrong situation.we are not like you. laa you claim to be our best friend of two months right?then why you don't understand us like we do? actually you are also like our boss after all you are his girlfriend.
both khushi and lavanya stared at Riya in shock.and then lavanya just went out to her apartment.and riya just fell down on the couch behind her surprised at her own outburst.while khushi stood glued to her place confused of what she should do now?go after lavanya or comfort Riya? she was still thinking when she heard riya
Riya:khushi am sorry.am sorry for what i just did.i really didn't meant to do any thing like this its...its just that i you know how possessive i am for you and i don't like this when i talk to you and some one else interfere.you know i can't share you.she said as a lone rear escaped her eye.to which khushi cupped her face carefully
Khushi:look here riya it was lavanya not some one.she is our friend not only mine so dont you ever think like that okay and look you really hurt her today.how can you say that she was not worried for me?she was.thats why she was here with you waiting for me?i know you hate to share me with any one but still i think you are wrong lavanya is our friend she is the one who supported us here in delhi in this office.how can you just think like this?and yes you are special riya no one can ever occupy your place in my heart but lavanya also is right you know are wrong this time.and you will say sorry to lavanya.will you? khushi asked doubt fully..
Riya:yes i will i know what i did was not right i will say sorry to her tomorrow okay.
Khushi:okay.khushi replied as she smiled softly.
Riya:okay i will bring something to eat for you.and after that you will tell me how did you came home?
Khushi:ASR dropped me.
after that riya heard wide eyed what khushi told her.and shocked

Laa:hey good morning riya
she said smiling to which riya felt more guilty and tried to explain about yesterday incident

Laa:no its okay riya i know you were worried about khushi i know she is your best friend.i know its a bit difficult sometimes to share your best friend when you want...well leave it yarr.
lavanya exclaimed sweetly and riya only stared at her as she instantly hugged her and said
Riya:am sorry am really sorry for the hurt i caused am really really sorry.she pleaded and lavanya laughed whole heartedly
Laa:okay where is khushi?lavanya asked between giggles
Riya:ohh she has not come today you dont know but sir gave her leave of three days.lavanya looked at her surprised
Riya:yeah i felt the same when she told me that.riya said as they burstinto laughter

aman asked respectfully
ASR:hmmm i told you to give me every detail about Miss Gupta and why khushi i mean miss Gupta went to hospital yesterday?where is that?ASR sneered
Aman:yeah sir i have every detail in a file you want to read it or should i tell you thoroughly?
ASR:tell me.
Aman:actually her mother died six months ago
ASR:what?
yeah that time she was in last year of her graduation her father owned a sweet shop
her parents were coming after seeing a boy for her marriage when they met a serious accident in which her mother died unfortunately and her father got paralyzed.
arnav could not believe his ears she was so innocent and she beard so much in such less time no way his face was pale with hurt.
her father is admit in life care hospital where she goes to see him every tuesday.she pays them 20 thousand per month for the treatment of her father's paralysis.
yeah and she lives here with her friend riya shrama.riya is an orphan thats why riya sold her house in lucknow and bought a one room flat here in delhi and they both riya and khushi share that.
ASR:ohh shit what did i just did with her he thought when he remembered about the decrease in her pay ohh shit.last night she was late to meet her father because of me.he thought to himself
Aman:her friends circle consists on riya and lavanya and she is 18 years old her name is khushi kumari Gupta.her friend riya sharma is also 18 and lavanya kashyap is 24.and..
ASR:i know that very well aman
ASR replied.
Aman:but you dont know the fact that she is is engaged.
ASR:what?ENGAGED?with whome?arnav asked furious
Aman:the same boy her parents went to meet.his name is Armaan Malik but
ASR:BUT???
he felt somthing piercing his heart swiftly
Aman:but that boy does not seem to be interested in marrying Khushi.
hearing this something soothed his burning heart and he suddenly realized his feelings for her and that too strong ones.

He was siting on his recliner thinking about what aman told him today infront of his eyes was the file which aman gave him,containing every little detail about khushi.he loomed at the file and then those pictures of the cute little khushi.she was so happy and content.he read and reread every thing about her.
"why did it hurt so much if she is engaged?actually why it even bother me?what if she married him?no...i wont let this happen never...but why?"
ASR:ohh khushi you are making me crazy.
he was shocked at his own thoughts as he murmured those words..
ASR:oh god from when i have started her calling Khushi?he muttered under his breath and suddenly he remembered something his Di told him
Anjali:"chotay one day a girl will come into your life with out your knowing and you will find it difficult to even breath with out her"
and in return he had laughed so much at his Di's typical romantic nature.but now things were different he was missing her badly,things were being worse for him..which actually were falling right at last.
ASR:what kind of feeling is this?is it...he didn't wanted to think further,something stopped him he wasnt clear but for one thing he was all sure that he wont gave her leave of more then half day damn he missed her so much.

he called lavanya in his cabin for a little talk
ASR:lavanya you are being promoted.he told her professionally
Laa:what?she asked hesitating
ASR:yeah from now on you are manager in the other branch of AR under Aakash.clear?
he asked her gently
Laa:really?am manager wao its amazing am really happy thanks ASR.her face glowed with happiness
Laa:but ASR if I'm the manager then what about you secretary?
ASR:I'm going to promote miss Gupta for my personal secretary
he replied smirking
Laa:thank you so much.any thing else ASR?
she asked happily
ASR:no.yeah actually send miss Gupta upstairs
Laa:ASR?
she looked at him questioningly as she continued
Laa:she is on leave.you forgot?
ASR:ohh yeah it just escaped my mind.thanks.while she was leaving Arnav called
ASR:listen lavanya?
Laa:yes ASR?she turned swiftly and asked
ASR:dont tell her about this promotion okay i will tell her on my own okay.he assured to which lavanya nodded and left happily.

she was siting alone in the lounge of her little flat as riya was at work and she was spending her 2nd day of leave at her house.her feet dipped in warm water placed in a tub while she read a magzine but her mind was somewhere else.
Khushi's pov
hey khushi what will you do now?from where you are going to earn more 5000 rupees you know how important this money is for you.
hey devi maiyya please do something ohh i hate this laad governor what he thinks of his self how can he just remediate my pay like this?he did not even bother how i will manage now.hey devi maiyya how am i going to pay the hospital bills.should i sell my home in lucknow...?no khushi that house has a lot of memories of your with amma and babuji.i can not sell that house.but then what should i do?i think i should find some part time work yes this will be better.but what part time job i will do? i thought to myself.tension wrriten all over my face.my brain was pulsating with pain.yes i am really worried for my father because no money means no treatment i need to do something really soon.this is something i didn't even shared with riya or lavanya till now but i need to do something quickly because the month is going to end soon.
Khushi:"khushi siting at home wont work its better that you go to office and talk to that laad governor.may be it sort somethings out.yeah it will be right gor one last time talk to him khushi maybe you get rid of these problems.yes tomorrow am going to office and talk to that laad governor.i talked to me as i mentally prepared myself to beg for my father's health in front of him.but will i?i questioned to myself...i dont have any choice and he always wanted this.he wanted me to beg in front him from him he is a heart less and ruthless arrogant person i have ever met.
but my father is my life and my only family i cant lose him he is my everything and im breathing for him just like he is for me.ohh devi maiyya why are you testing me so much...my heart cried out but when these tears came in my eyes i dont know...amma please talk to devi maiyya and ask her to help me i know you are up their watching everything.me and babuji both love you and miss you.i talked to my amma.i miss her though she is in my heart but i miss her talks her loving nature and i know babuji do the same he can not tell this to me but i can feel.i know babuji is worried for me.he dont like staying there in hospital but he have to,to get a healthy life and a new start.
ohh why am so alone why there is so much for me to bear.i cried out loud.

Khushi:what special has happened?you are looking so happy?she questioned as she looked at lavanya's beaming face
Laa:am so happy today it is a big of my life you know asr promoted me to manager post.beamed lavanya as riya bring the sweets and filled her mouth with jalebi's.
Khushi:thats a great news really great.am so happy for you.replied a happy khushi.while lavanya was bussy to gulp down the jalebi
Riya:and you know we deserve a treat don't we?riya happily questioned
Laa:yeah i will give you a treat the way you guyz want okay.lavanya replied smiling widely
Khushi:yeah but we will choose the place.khushi said trying to smile widely but riya noticed that something was not right.her smile was not reaching her eyes.she wasn't happy?riya thought "ohh stop it riya there is something else bothering her but what"riya cursed herself for criticizing khushi.though lavanya was too happy to notice any thing.
khushi looked at riya who was eyeing khushi seriously trying to read what was going inside her.and to save her self from her inquiry she tried to escape for a while
Khushi:i think you both must be hungry.let me cook something for you k.she said sweetly and left in a moment but riya was not going to leave her until she get what she wanted.

he entered his house and directly went to his bedroom.but moving towards his room he called hp
ASR:Hp bring a coffee for me he said as he climbed the staircase he threw his bag on the bed as he entered his room and lay on the recliner.he closed his eyes and then opened them with a jerk
ASR:what the hell..why her face is coming in front of my eyes!
he said as khushi's angelic face flashed in front of his eyes.he was surely missing her like hell these two days with out her felt like two whole years.
ASR:one more day and she will be there in front of me around me for whole day.he sighed as he drank his coffee.

they both were lying on bed when riya turned the lamp on.
Khushi:what happened riya?khushi asked confused
Riya:this is what i want to know..what happened??riya asked seriously
Khushi:what are you asking about?khushi looked at her
Riya:i know there is something bothering you and i know it since tomorrow i just want to know what it is?if there is a problem share with me and we will solve it togather. riya asked sincerely
Khushi:No riya there is nothing to bother about so please don't be worried.k khushi smiled sweetly but that smile didn't reached her eyes.
Riya:seriously khushi i never expected you to hide things from me.saying this she turned and switched off the lights to which khushi was more tensed now.
Khushi:riya?riya listen to me please?there is nothing khushi pleaded
Riya:okay at least i believe you.good night khushi.she replied with out turning.
and then they both drifted to sleep after some more hours of turning and tossing.

Arnav was more then surprised as he saw her entering the office with riya only because lavanya was in other branch. they both went to their cabins respectively but khushi's face was tensed and he knew the reason.so he asked aman to send her upstairs so that he could put her out of her misery.

khushi enters and asks
Khushi:sir you called me?
ASR:yeah it seems so...he replied to which she frowned and stared at him as he continued
ASR:actually there is good news for you.he said calmly
Khushi:humph good news for me and look who is saying this she looked at him thinking all stupid things.he smiled at her and she blinked wide eyed and shocked.
Khushi:did he just smiled at me?impossible...though he looks cute while smiling.she thought to herself unaware of when he came behind her she shuddered as she felt a hot breath near her ear.she flinched at the spot suddenly and for his good luck her earring got entangled with his waistcoat.
Khushi:Ahh
she cried as she felt pain in her ear and he hold her from shoulders.she was stunned at the feel of his hands on her shoulders and his chest on her tiny back.
ASR:shhh shhh dont move stay still.i will do it for YOU.
he whispered huskily stressing on You.as he slightly rubbed his palms on her shoulders.and she closed her eyes to the unknown but sweet feeling.he untangled her ear ring as his fingers willingly brushed her ear and he stepped back reluctantly.but she was still standing in the same position with eyes closed.and he bent forward and whispered lightly
ASR:khushi its done.
hearing this she opened her eyes with jerk and stood straight.
he smiled inwardly
ASR:actually from now you are not working as an assistant here...
she swiftly turned and started blabbering
Khushi:no sir you cant do this to me.you know the contract is for one year and its just the third month so how can you just fire me?sir i really don't have any problem with my pay am ok still if its 15000 only but please don't expel me please sir.she pleaded her eyes moist. he looked at her amused as he spoke
ASR:who the hell is saying that you are expelled?he said flabbergasted at her out burst
she looked at him confused
Khushi:then what do you mean?
she questioned
ASR:from now on you are my personal secretary and according to the new post your pay is 45000 and AR is giving you a flat to live in and a car and a driver.a servant a guard.and AR will pay the dues in any case you or your family needs any medical treatment...clear..
he said as he gave the papers but she only stared at him with moist eyes.her eyes welled up and tears started sneaking out her eyes.he looked at her and then bent forward and wiped the tears from the side of her eye with the help of his thumb.
ASR:khushi i mean miss Gupta there is no need to cry.so keep quiet.and now when you are my personal secretary you must know that am allergic of tears.
he tried to lighten the atmosphere.
she looked at him dumbstruck ,confused at his talk,wanting to hug him at the spot but then scolding herself for such desire.
and what he said at the end made her smile slightly
Khushi:i thought you are allergic of smile but tears also.she commented in her mind.
Khushi:thank you so much sir thanks a lot.you don't know how much i needed this promotion.and sir you can call me Khushi because am your secretary and miss Gupta will sound a bit extra formal as for my job.don't you think?she questioned arnav
ASR:yeah you are right.andkhushi i think then you should also call me arnav.don't you think so?and yes there is no need of thank you because you are a hardworking employe and you deserve this post he said smirking.to which she smiled and started with her new work

Khushi: what...are you...doing Arnav...ji.she stammered
ASR:but you like this don't you.he said grinning sexily to which she turned and looked at him as she smiled and gained all the courage to speak.
Khushi:but i am your secretary.
ASR:hmmm but PERSONAL he smirked as he winked at her to which she looked at him slightly smirking
Khushi:is this for what you pay me?she asked grinning at him
ASR:ummm in a way yes and yes in every way he smirked
Khushi:ok then let me do my work properly.she replied as she winked back at him.he waited for her to initiate and she did.she moved on her toes to match his height enclosed her arms around his neck and bent forward towards his lips.they both closed their eyes and then he felt her breath near his lips and this was the moment when her lips were centimeters apart from his and the door KNOCKED LOULDY...
