Response to bolded bits.

1. There are some posts indirectly taking on mine. Bashing Barun is not the intention of this thread. He did what any person will do, make the most of opportunities. This thread takes on the conspiracy theorists who from the looks of it got not a single piece of new correct so far. What drove them? Adulation for Barun or the mere need to create hysteria and earn following from his fans. Or they could have genuinely been misled themselves. Which brings me to the point. Why do people find it that easy to believe virtual strangers on the forum over Barun himself who said he quit for his own personal reasons? Points to ponder

2. There are already a few. The woman lost her job in 2 days notice. Yet she should be nothing but gracious to the people who have played a role in her losing her job. There are even rumours that Sanaya put in her papers. That's the length the conspiracy theorists would go to prove Gul is evil and is exploiting Barun. Sanaya is a mere prop that gets added to their theories just to prove how real their theory is and how badly exploited Barun is.

WE all knew that he was leaving IPK has he has definitely got something better to look forward to...not only as a actor but as any human being it is natural instinct for him to aspire to achieve success , dream to soar high and there is definitely nothing wrong in that...but a bit of professionalism to banta tha na ...

He most probably was not allowed to divulge information about the upcoming venture so he kept quiet ..but MR Sobti you could have easily urged your fans to trust you for ones and not believe in all the rumours and demand the closure of such a beautiful show in such a pathetic way..you could have openly urged them to let you cherish AND fulfill your dreams and not come in the way by threatening to unsubscribe the channel as they thought you were the victim...

you might become a very successful BW star one day but people will always associate you with IPK and it will always bring back bitter memories to the real lovers of IPK ...I hope looking back in time you dont regret this decision...I sincerely hope

What I meant to say is whether what the viewer wants is ethically or morally right is irrelevent.

For a daily soap what the majority thinks and wants (on a channel like SP) is very important.

It might be down right rude and ugly but it is what it is. Does it seem unfair. Surely.

But does it matter to the likes of SP, PH ? Not really.

Could have saved the show.

sree all he had to say at the SPL event I am leaving but if you love the character ASR and me the human and want to see the show end well then accept and let me go while there may have been murmurs it would have placated the hysteria and we would still have the show but he chose to stay mum

Apparently for some people everything that is contrary to their own absurd logic is a conspiracy...Conspiracy has become the favorite word of the forum...Everytime some interview comes up people are ready to brush it off as a conspiracy by Gul/Ph/Sp and who-not...im nt saying that they are not at fault...They are equally to be blamed for the mess...The situation could have been handled in a much more reasonable manner...But having said that il also say that Barun is not free from the blame..He could have been clear about what he wanted and not gone around giving incoherent answers to questions regarding his leaving...Although i wonder if the fangirls would have believed him if he made his stance clear???they would probably still say that he said it under pressure...

They said: through his "scripted interview" though he smiled his eyes were moist with tears whist he was forced to say his lines
Instead: Sanaya Irani shed real tears helplessly whilst she was saying the dialogues for the scripted "thank you" speech for the show. Why? ...because that's how much this show meant to her.

They said: he came to sets and was asked to leave.
Instead: Sanaya Irani came to work on her final day ... she was only told on short notice 2 or so days before... .

They said: SP forced Barun to leave. They mistreated him.
Instead: Sanaya was forced to leave because the show was cancelled, just like that...

Like I said this isn't about Barun or Sanaya but just some observations.

It's funny what people are willing to see and read into and the stark reality of it all.
