The shooting of Tigmanshu Dhulias Bullet Raja, based on UP mafia, is on in full swing in Lucknow. And finally, we were able to get a glimpse of Saif shooting for the film. Early on Saturday morning we caught Saif Ali Khan in his mafia don garb for the film on the outskirts of the city, the Kukrail picnic spot, to be precise. Accompanying him were Jimmy Sheirgill and Chunky Pandey who too play mafia characters in the film.
Tigmanshu Dhulia and producer Rahul Mittra left for the shooting location at 7 am from the five star hotel they are staying at, to be followed by Saif, Jimmy and Chunky an hour later. On reaching the shoot location, Saif was in an energetic mood, greeting everyone with a cheerful Good morning and Salaam.
The scene being shot at Kukrail was a death scene where Chunkys character, Lallan Tiwari, is supposed to be killed off by Saif and Jimmy. Saif was dressed for the part in a red Pathan kurta teamed with blue jeans. At the same time, Jimmy, dressed in a brown T-shirt and blue jeans and sporting a thin moochh, was seen brandishing a pistol while looking menacingly at Chunky Pandey. Sporting a stubble and a thin moustache, Saif got in front of the camera mouthing the dialogue where he is telling, Jimmy, his best friend in the film, that, Pehchaana isko Kaun hai Yeh Raja gaddar hai. Isne jis thali main khaya hai usi mein chhed kiya hai. Isse milo, yeh hain Raja Gaddar, all the while pointing a double barrel gun at Chunky. In response, Chunky replied, Maafi bohot badi cheez hoti hai. Mujhe maaf kar do bhaiyya.
To which Saif responded, Achha, kahani sunao… The dialogues were followed by a shooting sequence where Chunky was shot in the arm by Saif and ran into the jungle.
In between the shooting, Saif and Chunky were spotted joking and chatting. Saif was heard narrating an incident of a forest trip, which he had gone for in which the guide had gotten drunk and gone off to sleep.
Later in the day, Chunky left for Mumbai to spend Diwali with his family. In fact, the cast will be joined by Raj Babbar today. Sources say he is playing an important part in the film, as is Gulshan Grover who will be in Lucknow after November 15.
