The drama started with the story of a young woman named Indira Sharma,whose fight for survival relates the story to anyone of us in the real world;everything around her life seemed real,whether that be her attitude towards life,or be her attitude towards relationship.whether it be her rudeness to people around her,or her unconditional love for her family.Everyone of us found Indira Sharma among one of us,alive and breathing.And the writer beautifully balanced this theme of reality with fiction in the beginning.Not a knight in shinning armor,but a regular young man,someone like us came into Indira's life and started changing everything around her.This man Rishi,made Indira find a friend in him,made her once again trust in men,which she had lost after her father's betrayal;Rishi made her feel like a woman:wanted to be loved and love in return.But their love didn't find an easy way;like fairy tales,they also had to fight the evil.
The story seemed to maintain a balance with a mixture of drama and romance and humor.But it started to fall apart as the lead characters were started to be disintegrated;as reality seemed to go far away from the reel;as the chain of events,which is an integral part of good drama,started to break-sometimes in the plot with incomplete marriages of Indira and Rishi;and at times with plots of kidnapping.And the final blow to the story has been added with the sub-plot,where the protagonist is shown dead;when someone alike Indira is resurrected as Zara.Hereon, everything changed,making most of us question whom is this story 'Hitler Didi" about?Is it a story about Indira Sharma?,or is it a story about Zara Khan?Are the lead characters of the story changed?
Well,as far as I'm concerned,I think I've never come across any such absurd piece of novel,or drama where the protagonist is changed,or where the lead characters are altered.And I believe this is the very reason why the show has been under constant scrutiny;why many of us feel that this not the same story that once touched our hearts.The damage that Illa Bedi has done to the story is beyond repair;because the characters Indira and Rishi has been compromised time and again just to justify the theme of the story,i.e,'struggle'.And now as it looks,it has become a mess.I can't really understand what possible concept is their in the writer's mind to bring back the story to its original track?Really had hoped long that this November would bring back the magic of 'HD' as it had,which make us all cherish those moments between Indira and Rishi.But it seems that the ship has already sailed.Now in every episode it seems the writer and CVs are trying to create a forced romance and humor between Indira and Rishi;in the most inappropriate situations humor is added,and in the most crucial situations,romance is added.In short,the creators are juggling with the theme and plot of the story.
