The Politics Never Dies: Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon?
"In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way."
— Franklin D. Roosevelt
The modern generation always rejects any idea that comes out from the genre of 'Politics' these days giving out a reason of corruption. But my question is which work field under the current arena are deprived of backbiting politics? Everything that happens around us cannot be co-incidence. It is left on our judgement to understand what can be a mere accorded co-incidence and what can be a contingent proposition.
The recent rumours about 'Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon' have enraged thousands of fans worldwide asking for explanations and trying to understand the reason behind Barun Sobti's sudden exit (status unclear) from the show. While the man is badgered and bothered by various media sources to confirm his status with the show, we still only get baffling statements which do not go along the reality. Doesn't this throw a bad light on the actor's reputation if he gives out a statement which is been proved outright to be wrong the next day?
But I guess nobody here cares about that part of the story. As people here might have got a good pawn to balance the gun and shoot at their aimed direction.
The concerned production house seems to be going through a tough time with half of their cast and crew leaving the show. Akshay Dogra and Deepali Pansare have already put their papers down. The new current floating news is that even the writer Gautam Hegde and Daljeet Bhanot have left the show. The writer, Gautam Hegde's association with the show has been there from the very beginning. It is a subjective matter to think what made him also take a sudden quitting decision. It cannot be a mere co-incidence that out of blue all of a sudden every single important person associated with the show is on the verge of leaving it. Hence the blame game adopted here in this situation doesn't go hand in hand with the current turn of events. The effort of a production house to create the reel magic on screen cannot be denied but then at this point their effort to create a jumbled up situation is also undeniable.
The channel also is so far giving out some bizarre response to all the drama that is going on. Since the concerned actor is now under their contract and they have already got a confirmed 'money making machine' for themselves they are no longer interested in seeing the quality of work he has been proposed with. Whereas the character of ASR is severely butchered, the recent Diwali event was no less. Just for the sake of cashing into the popularity he was made to stand by the stage doing nothing for half of the time. Looks like this knowledge to the channel about his being able to pull audience without even uttering enough words is proving out to be creatively difficult for the actor. The major concern at this moment for the channel seems to be the upcoming UK trip only.
With all said and done it is to be seen what happens next. The blame game is still on and it seems to target and demean only one person in the process. We hope that people are able to see the clear picture and understand the 'Behind the Scene' drama that is going on. We hope the viewers soon get their answers and the crude politics stops with an effect to give a peace of mind to the actors, writers, viewers and all others who are suffering because of the chaos.
