Hey Guys!

I am back after a long time! Sorry for the late Update 😭 Anyways I am not going to blabber much! But I should let you know I had fun writing this chapter ... Hopefully you have fun reading it 😉 😛

Also all those who need English translations I have written them inside the brackets in orange colour.

Chapter Fourteen

Both Arnav and Khushi came out of their dazed state when the heard Happyji's voice.

Happyji: Aapki gadi hume humare gadi ke saath bandh diya hai ... Ab aap dono humare gadi ke piche chad jao! (I have tied your car to our truck ... Now you both can sit at the back of our truck.)

Khushi (Pointing her finger towards the back of the truck): Lekin Happyji yeh kya hai? (But Happyji what is this?)

Happyji: Arre yeh tho humara bhalu hai! (This is our Bhalu!)

Arnav: Bhalu?

Happyji: Haan Bhalu iska naam hai! Englis mein isse kaa kehethe hai ... Arre haan ... Blaak Bhaislo! Magar hume isse baislo bulna accha nahi lagtha na ... Isliye hum isse bhalu bulte hai! (Yes Bhalu is his name! What do you say in Englis ... Oh yes ... Blaak bhaislo! But I don't like to call him Bhaislo so I named him Bhalu!)

Arnav: Bhaislo???

Happyji: Haan!

Arnav: You mean buffalo?

Happy: Haan woh hi ... bhaislo ho ya buffalo ho sab ek hi hota hai! (Whether it is bhaislo or buffalo it's all the same)

Arnav: Ya right!

Happy: Chalo ab aap dono chad jao! (Now you both go and climb up the truck)

Khushi: Lekin yahan tho yeh buf ... mera matlab hai aapka bhalu hai! Hum iske sath kaise baitenge? (But the buf ... I mean the you Bhalu is there! How can we sit with him?)

Happy: Fikar not ji! Humara Bhalu frandly kisam ka hai! Usse koi thakleef nahi hogi! Aap dono aaram se bait jao! (Don't worry! Bhalu is very frandly! He wont have any problems ... You both can sit comfortably.)

Khushi: Lekin ... (But...)

Happy: Lekin vekin kuch nahi! Chaliye jaldi chad jaiye! Nahi tho dher ho jayega ... Aapko Pune jana hai aur hume Lonawala! Chalo jaldi se bait jao aur hum bhi chalke bait jathe hai! (Now climb the truck fast. You have to reach Pune and we have to reach Lonawala. So go and sit fast!)

Saying that he walked off leaving a confused Arnav and Khushi behind.

Arnav: Unbelievable!

Khushi: What do we do?

Arnav: Sit with that 'frandly bhaislo'!

Khushi: But I have never sat with a buffalo before ... In fact forget about sitting I have never even gone near one in my life!

Arnav: Oh really! I sit and chat with buffalos every day!

Khushi sensed his sarcastic tone.

Khushi (murmuring): I wouldn't be surprised if you did that! People like you can only have animals like these as friends!

Arnav: What are you murmuring?

Khushi: Is it necessary to tell you everything?

Arnav: No! But you are wasting time! Can we go and sit?

Khushi: Who is stopping you?

Arnav: Fine stay here... I am going!

Saying that Arnav walked towards the truck. While Khushi was stunned with Arnav's reply.

Khushi (self - thought): Chal Khushi tere pass iske sivay koi option nahi hai! Anyways if you can sit with that Laad Governor then this is just a buffalo! Its easier to handle the buffalo than that Laad Governor!

Khushi walked towards the truck but she could not get on it. When she looked at Arnav he was busy browsing through his phone.

Khushi: Will you help me climb up?

Arnav: Oh so you decided to come!

Khushi: Yes I did!

Arnav: Why what happened! I thought you did not want sit with a buffalo since you don't have much experience with it!

Khushi: But I have experience sitting with worse creatures than a buffalo!

Arnav: Oh really!

Khushi: Yes! And now if you are done interrogating me then help me climb up!

Arnav: Is it just me or did I not hear a 'Please'!

Khushi: Arrrghhh...

Arnav: Now that is definitely not a Please!

Khushi (after sighing): Will you 'Please' help me climb up?

Arnav: Hmmm ... Now that sounds more like it!

Arnav stood up and gave his hand to Khushi. He immediately pulled her up once she had kept her hand in his. But the pull had made Khushi crash into Arnav's chest and due to the sudden impact Arnav lost his balance and fell backwards taking Khushi down along with him. They both remained in each other's embrace until Khushi pulled back after a while. But this time they got lost in each other's eyes. It was first time that they both were assessing each other's eyes. Usually they always got lost in the colour of their orbs but this time they could see the hidden emotion in those orbs. They both were trying to understand the emotions that were reflected in the eyes. They both stayed like that for a while which felt like hours to them. But their trance broke because of a loud screeching voice ... No rather it was a loud bellow of a buffalo! They both looked at the buffalo simultaneously and then looked at each other and the position they were in. They both broke apart immediately and sat on two opposite corners of the truck away from the bhaislo. Both their hearts started thumping fast not only because if the bellow they heard but also because of the close proximity they were in few seconds ago.

Then they heard Happyji enquiring to them if they had seated themselves at the back to which Arnav responded a 'Yes'. Thus their journey to Pune began again with an awkward silence. Both of them were looking everywhere else but not at each other. Khushi started listening to music on her iPod while Arnav kept trying to call NK but the calls never got connected. There came a moment where he was all ready to throw his phone away but Khushi had stopped him on time -

Khushi: STOP!!! What are you doing? Why are you throwing the phone?

Arnav: I am not able to contact NK ... There is no range here!

Khushi: So??? By throwing the phone will the range come?

Arnav: Then what should I do! They all will be ...

Khushi: Worried! I know that but we can't do anything about it now! We will call them immediately once we reach Lonawala! Till then I guess we will just have to be patient!

Arnav: Hmmm!!!

Khushi: You are so short tempered!

Arnav: Huh?

Khushi: I said you are short tempered!

Hearing Khushi, Arnav had an 'unbelievable' look on his face.

Khushi: Sometimes you remind me of Bhai! Even he is short tempered ... In fact Di and Lavanya tells me that even I am short tempered! But I am sure I am not as short tempered as you both!

Arnav: Both?

Khushi: Ya! You and Bhai!

Arnav: Oh ok!

And once again there was silence. After a while Arnav heard Khushi giggling. He turned towards her with a confused look.

Arnav: Did I miss out on something funny? Coz I can't see anything funny happening here to make you giggle like that!

Khushi (Trying to control her laughter): I was just imagining Lavanya's expression when I tell her about this trip!

Arnav: What is so funny about it though?

Khushi: Isn't us travelling with a buffalo funny enough?

Arnav thought for a while and then said -

Arnav: No ... Us travelling with a 'bhaislo' is funny!

They both started laughing and they did not stop until their stomachs started hurting.

Arnav: I can't believe I am travelling with a buffalo!

Khushi: Really? But I remember you telling me that you sit and chat with buffalos every day!

Listening to that Arnav narrowed his eyes at her and to which Khushi just smirked back.

Arnav: You like to talk a lot ... don't you?

Khushi: Ya I do!

Arnav: You are so different from what I thought you would be like!

Khushi: Oookkk! What did you think I would be like?

Arnav: Well the first time I heard about you in Sydney ... I was expecting you to be one of those self-centered business women.

Khushi: Oh so that is why you behaved so rudely to me at the airport?

Arnav: What? Nooo! ... First of all I did not know you were Gupta Event Management's Khushi Gupta when I met you at the airport and second I was not rude to you!

Khushi: Oh really! If you think that was not rude then what do you call that behaviour of yours?

Arnav: I was just irritated by your behaviour!

Khushi: My behaviour! What did I do to irritate you?

Arnav: You very well know what you did!

Khushi: As far as I remember ... I by-mistakenly bumped into you for which I did apologise but still you started quarrelling with me! And then I by-mistakenly poured orange juice on you and for which I once again apologised but again you started quarrelling! So I think it was you who was rude not me!

Arnav: But if you would not have done all those things then I would not have got irritated!

Khushi: I did not do all that for fun! As I said before it happened by-mistakenly!

Arnav: Ya right!

Khushi: You know what ... Mujhe farakh nahi pdtha ... Think what you want ... I just don't care!

Saying that she plugged her earphones back and started listening to music.

Arnav: What the!

Arnav was surprised but he chose to ignore whatever Khushi said. The rest of the journey to Lonawala was silent. They reached Lonawala in an hour's time and bid goodbye to Happyji and Chottu after they had dropped them off to a garage.

Khushi: I will call home and let them know about our situation.

Arnav: Ok!

Khushi called Lavanya and answered all her question and told her that they will reach home in an hour or so. After talking to Lavanya she went back to Arnav.

Khushi: I told them we will reach there in an hour! Will it take us longer than that?

Arnav: No an hour should be fine! Did you tell them to get dressed and have a final look at the preparations? The guest will be arriving soon.

Khushi: Ya I did!

Arnav: Well the car is fixed ... we can leave now!

Khushi: Great ... Lets go then!

They both got into the car and started their journey back to Pune again.
