Rimi Sen has been a constant face in most of Priyadarshan's films. She has acted in several hit comedies like Hungama, Garam Masala and her most recent success which was Phir Hera Pheri.
The Bengali beauty is gradually carving a place for herself in bollywood and will soon be seen in another comedy Golmaal. Recently she was in London for the Zee Carnival. However according to several sources who were also present for the event, Rimi who is normally very well behaved acted completely out of character. Rimi was seen flirting with a waiter and also with singer Shaan who was attending the event along with his wife.
Rimi was invited for the event by the sponsors, Dino Morea and the cast of Dharmesh Darshan's Aap Ki Khatir were also present in London. All the actors decided to get together and have dinner. The entire group came to the same restaurant where Shaan and his wife Radhika were having a quiet dinner by themselves.
According to a source "Rimi was in an extremely good mood and she was chatting with everyone. She suddenly began flirting with a Polish waiter and after a while she went over to Shaan's table, since she and Shaan are both Bengali's she decided to say hello. However when she came over she began to speak to Shaan in Bengali and completely ignored his wife. Rimi kept whispering into Shaan's ears and ruffled his hair. While Shaan was caught unawares and didn't know how to handle the situation, his wife Radhika seemed quite upset by Rimi's flirtatious behaviour."
Singer Shaan was at first reluctant to talk about the entire incident, but later said "It's true that Rimi was a bit overfriendly." However Shaan claims that after Radhika and he went back to the hotel room after finishing their dinner, his wife questioned him as to why he silently endured Rimi's flirtatious act instead of setting the actress right. However Shaan managed to convince his wife that he was taken by surprise with Rimi's behaviour and he did not know how to deal with the situation in front of so many other people.
Well Rimi surely caused a lot of confusion between the singer and his wife. For an actress who's never done any bold roles on-screen, Rimi was definitely way too bold to flirt with Shaan and that too in the presence of his wife. Nonetheless Radhika and Shaan are an extremely understanding couple and have brushed off the incident. Shaan is very happy with his latest album Tishnagi and he will also be returning to host his popular show Saregamapa.
