I'm sorry, but this set-up for SR is a bit too old Las Vegas for me... 🤣 We need more Wynn, less Chapel 'O Love!!! 🤣 T-A-C-K-Y!!!

I finally sit down in peace today after days of running around.. watched ten episodes almost back to back.. could only get to watch each episode only once for those two weeks.. 😳 .. and then I read all the crooners.. brilliant stuff, most undoubtedly.. could not follow all the pages of discussions though, will try and catch up..!
And after I read this crooner just now, I realized this could very well be your best one (repetitive much?😳)..! Beautiful, thoughtful, meaningful.. exceptional, ardent, eloquent! And what a treat to the eyes, those pictures.. and what a treat to the mind, those quotes.. each bringing a sigh closely followed by a smile! 😊

Our fairytale got itself a fairytale wedding indeed, who expected any less! More than anything, what a beautiful sight these two make together! ❤️ I have much to say but will be back tomorrow to edit.. for now, I am just absorbing your crooner and the thought behind each line and picture!

PS: Thank you so much Indi Di, Anjali, Gandhari, Beena Di, Mou, Sudha and Khushi for the shout outs time and again! Hugs, hugs, hugs.. love yous, missed you all!!! 🤗 🤗 And Soni.. our telepathy rocks! 😉 🤗</font>

You have no idea how happy I am right now!!! 🤗 🤗 🤗

hi deeps,
lovely post, especially your thoughts on wheter or not they will realise that they loved each other even before they got married that difficult night. it would be wonderful, but even i am not sure if that will happen or not.

your last thought is stirring, if his mother is looking down at him right now she'd be happy and proud of him. beautiful. i don't know about stars but i do often think if those that are not with us in this world are watching us and are part of our significant moments.

love your gif.

WHOA!!! what a write up...between you and Priya you covered every nuance of this episode...loved loved your caps and your quotes and these lines :"For once, Arnav Singh Raizada refused to be the caretaker of someone else's mistakes, someone else's pain. He needed her as much as she needs him in order to heal and move on. He could saw the same tempest in her eyes as he himself had experienced just a few hours prior, being apart from her...He knew she had been waiting, and that a moment too late, could have spelled something different for them!" you nailed it!

Til now this is the best description of Naaniji for me :"

Her utter confidence and conviction in Khushi! Thinking back to when Khushi looked after Arnav, when she worried for him, when she cried for him during the kidnapping! And her own grandson: now a changed man! The boy who had forgotten to smile, who never believed in love, in marriage, tradition, or its trappings, today came for that very love and to commit to her! Yet, she reminded them to be honest with themselves, and do what felt right to them! A neutral advocate for both!👏" for me she indeed is the epitome of what a matriarch should be...She had lost her own child too because of the same incident, but she didnt want the past eclipse the present : her grandson's chance to happiness...No wonder her daughter seemed so wise.

I loved what you said about Arnav's trust on Garima based on his own experience with her at GH...I give this to the CVs...they didn't show ASR deciding after hearing Garima's confession or anything...he used his own judgement again...to put the blame on who he believed was the culprit.

I loved how you described each aspect of the wedding. I loved how your hubby took the bold step...we know PDA in a social environment especially in your own wedding still raises eyebrows amongst elders. 😉

Loved your take as always!

Thanks, G!!!😃 I appreciate the sweetness so much!! Well, my hubby has one dominant ASR-ish trait--he essentially doesn't give 2 hoots about what anyone thinks, either!😆 Our was a very haatke courtship & wedding, so the PDA just fit in...Most of the elders chuckled, but his grandfather (now 94) applauded!😆😳

smita,

you remembered what lavanya said to him about love being bigger in every way than hate and not to ever let it go should he find it, wow. that connection was beautiful. also, you saw babuji move involuntarily when khushi was about to faint. i never saw that, great direction, thanks for pointing it out.
like you, i was completely smitten with the dialogues, almost as much as with the man with disheveled hair and scar, naked love in eyes. though the moment that made my knees turn to water had not a single word, just two sets of eyes looking at each other and telling a whole story of love in a few seconds.
isn't the snake cute? poor baby. enjoyed your detailed look and the many thoughts about things.

you could be right and i might never get my answers. but somehow the second wedding i felt was done more for external reasons and less for the intrinsics of the story. to me khushi is the kind of girl who can go way beyond and past conventions, who can look into the heart of things and get the point if she chooses to. the fabulous soliloquy where she accepts that she has feelings for him despite their relationship being so tied to hate, showed me untold depth. when asr overheard her telling her friends about the fabulous wedding they had i had no doubt in my mind that some day he will make amends for the terrible way she was forced to marry that night, but that it would end up in a full blown remarriage i hadn't realised. secondly, if he had been the one to suggest it as a way to honour her feelings and wishes, i guess i would have found a way into it, but the whole dadi thing and mention of avaidh relationship, the ugliness and tension which initiated it, left a funny feeling inside. however, i really enjoyed the way the various rituals were used to show the steady and compelling growth of trust and love. his all out effort to make her happy, her being completely touched by it, and finally her accepting him as her husband in her heart, even before the pheras were done. i saw a beautiful relationship phase being explored, the wedding its instrument.

but yes, i am happy for khushi, she got her wedding, and she giggled and danced her way through it, also she showed us the beauty of utter trust in love. and for him too, because now he knows exactly what she means to him, and strengthened by their love he reached a milestone in his life, he realised that the past had to be laid to rest and the future welcomed in. for which i guess i've got to thank dadi 😆 an even more consummate cupid than snake.😳

Di, to your first comment about the original wedding...so with you there! I thought the wedding itself was haatke, some of the dramatic "Bollywood" visuals notwithstanding...The montage of them in that temple has been emblazoned in my mind...

@bold: You couldn't have said it better!!!👏👏👏

@red: Exactly!! case in point; last Friday! She is unconventional...It was almost as if the SP-fication was shoved down her throat, Di...And to top it off, she was still wearing sindoor and mangalsutra 'til the moment she changed into her wedding lehenga...I guess now this "societal" argument is laid to rest...Jai ho, SP!!

hi shy,

gorgeous post with of course the most wonderful pictures. but like you i was freaking proud to be arnav singh raizada's fan yesterday. beast he is and that's exactly how i will love him, for he is truer than many saints and understanding, sweet, politically correct creatures that are effete and merely half men.

and yes, khushi's trust, in life sometimes, at most crucial times all we have is that. and that is everything. khushi's unquestioning trust was stupendous to watch.

thanks for a most heartfelt and enjoyable post.
