So screwed😕. Thought to mention this while I work on the records:
If Vidhi hadn't interrupted them yesterday, Aarti would have told Yash right then about the pregnancy. She was gearing up for that, since the indignation would have trumped her fear. So once again, it was a poppinjay who kept the truth from Yash's ears😆😆
Also, about the physical abuse, and the rest of it from that household:
We've been constantly harping about Aarti's low self-esteem, and from my observations, her acceptance of these things are only another symptom of that. She has been accepting crap since the days of Prashant, and now from Yash and his family all in the name of "love" and "responsibility" and "respect/reverence for elders". So for her to overcome that ingrained sense of "I deserve this" will take years of counselling if you ask me.
