Hmmm...they were about to kiss in the beginning. Errr, KD is losing his spy self! Kiya means danger for him! He better realize this soon. Aah! Panchi's state is just...heartbreaking! I loved it how Kiya read Panchi like an open book and KD figured out the danger of the situation. Panchi can really be their weak link if you were ever to go into the action mode of this SS. I found some issues with Kiya's past. I mean the way you wrote, some tense issues were there. Tenses were not consistent throughout and that always bugs me. But you write from Macbook/Ipad so I can figure. Some typos were there per rehne de, you are sick :P

I hate Abhi. Actually I don't. Wait, I found an issue here. KD had a bullet in his shoulder for the whole week! :O I'm no doctor but that makes no sense...unless you wanted it to. ANYWAY! The kiss was sooo good! I LOVED it! The buildup could've been more intense but it was good. I'll write my own version of it <3

The END! Aaah! They were sitting together and he just said I'm sorry and so many things ended. I love you SO much for this angst! Seriously Prach, LOVED it! Simply LOVED it! <3

"Hands up!"

KD turned sharply and knocked out the gun from the hands of intruder with a quick round kick. The refrigerator door stayed wide open as he twisted their hands behind their back and pushed them against the wall besides the door. His hand circled around their waist.

His eyes turned wide when found himself staring into familiar eyes.

"Chicklet?" He whispered. She scowled.

"Yes!" She hissed. "Leave me!"

KD instantly let go of her hands and a frown adorned his handsome face. He turned to look at the supposed gun that was just a remote control.

"Can't you loosen up for a change?" She asked annoyed. He rubbed his hands on his white shirt as he rolled his eyes and went back to the refrigerator. "Very mature!" She muttered.

"What are you doing here?" He asked. He could hear her shuffle behind him. He pushed around the food boxes and packages inside the freezer, looking for something edible.

"I am hungry." She answered after a moment. KD took out a packet of tortilla and cheese. Put them on the counter in the kitchen and went back to get a packet of already chopped onion and tomatoes.

"Didn't you have dinner with Panchi?" He asked, moving across the kitchen past her to the pantry.

"No. She didn't have dinner." She said. KD paused in the doorway and turned to her frowning. She continued quickly. "Ranveer took some noodles for her. She is on the swing outside."

KD bit his lip and continued towards the counter. He started to cook for his stomach.

"Panchi is a great cook." She said, trying to make a conversation. All she got in reply was a nod of affirmation. She sighed and leaned against the counter, before jumping and sitting on it. She swung her feet out of boredom.

"What's your favorite food?" He asked all of a sudden. She looked at his back startled.

"Gol-Gappe." She answered. KD turned to look at her amused, but he didn't comment. "Yours?"

"Nothing specific." He replied with shrug and turned back to cook.

"Of course! Stoneface!" She muttered.

"This might not be as tasty as your Gol-Gappe, but it's pretty good. Taste this." He said as he brought a plate with a piece of quesadilla to her. She was startled at his sudden act.

"Uh, I have to wash my hands." She said, bringing up her hands to show him the invisible speckles of dirt. He rolled his eyes once again. He took the slice in his hand and moved it towards her mouth. She moved back instantly. He looked at her with bored expression.

"I don't bite." He muttered. She sighed and leaned forward. His eyes followed her face as she bit onto the slice of Quesadilla. She wiped the imaginary crumbs under her chin, with the back of her hand. He placed the plate next to her.

"This is delicious!" She chirped and jumped down from the counter, deciding to wash her hands. The air suddenly tensed as they stood centimeters apart. Their noses almost touching. Their hearts out of rhythm, breaking the consistency of its speed. Their eyes seemed to have their own mind, not bothering to move. KD stared into the honey orbs, wondering what is holding him there.

The first time he had looked at them, fire blazing and yet the innocence with which she had looked at him. The beautiful orbs had grabbed a part of him at an instant. But was he going to admit that? Of course not. It was a moment of weakness that he will never look back at. But looking away from those same eyes was harder than forgetting about that first meeting. His will to stay away smashed into pieces and he leaned forward. Ready to feel the softness of her lips again. He was a breath apart from her when he felt her hands pushing against his chest. He stumbled back in confusion, colliding with the corner of cupboard behind him. He cringed as the pain shot from his shoulders.

It had been a three weeks since his surgery, but the stitches were still raw. His eyes closed as the corner poked his skin. He bit his lips and brought up his watch. Kiya stared at him in confusion as he turned the dial of his watch.

"Kitchen! Now!" He said in a hoarse voice. The blood seeped through his white shirt and Kiya's eyes widened in horror.

"KD? OMG! What happened? I am so sorry! I didn't mean to!" Kiya panicked and ran towards him, pulling him up. KD winced. A moment later they heard someone running inside the kitchen.

"KD! Shit! Is it bad?" Ranveer rushed to his side and Kiya stood up, letting Ranveer take care of the wound. Two men arrived into the kitchen out of nowhere. They helped Ranveer life KD up and rushed out of the kitchen. Kiya stepped up to follow them but Panchi's hand stopped her.

"Just stay here, let them handle it." Panchi whispered. Kiya looked at her frowning.

"Panchi, I don't know what happened! But he started bleeding because of me! I pushed him!" Kiya panicked. Panchi placed an assuring hand on her shoulder.

"It wasn't your fault." Panchi felt her finger vibrate a little and sighed. "Let's go." She smiled. They walked out to a silent house.

"Where are they?"

"Upstairs."

Kiya wondered what was going on in this house. Everyone was mysterious. Everything was mysterious. How can it be a co-incidence that KD and Ranveer ended up here, in a month? When she reached the stairs, her feet staggered. Within a moment, she lost consciousness.

Ranveer stitched the wound and wrapped the bandage around KD's shoulders.

"Next time, don't go near Kiya when I am talking to Panchi." Ranveer muttered.

"Why?" KD asked. He closed his eyes and lay back in the bed. Ranveer scowled. He stood up and walked over to the study table. Closing the caps of medicines.

"Finally I gained courage to go talk to her, and you ended up buzzing this shit," He said. "Again!"

"Don't tell me the last time was when you kissed her!" KD hid his smile. Ranveer's face heat up.

"No!" He said quickly. "It was actually a call from hospital." The scowl was back on his face. "Informing us about you gaining conscious."

"So much for being a cupid!" KD chuckled. "Where is Kiya?"

"Do you know you ask that the first thing everytime?" Ranveer turned to him with a frown.

"She happens to be my subject." KD said as a matter of fact.

"Still! You need to keep your cover. Stop being a stalker." Ranveer walked back to the chair beside KD's bed with a cup of water.

"I am supposed to be a stalker you idiot! Now answer my question please." He said, taking the cup from KD's hand.

"Panchi knocked her out."

And just like that, the water blew out of KD's mouth.

KD slowly opened the door to Kiya's room. It was 5:00 in the morning, and he couldn't sleep after the he woke up an hour ago. The air conditioner had turned off, but the air was still warm. The morning, grey light seeped through her slits between long curtains. Kiya was sleeping on her bed; her head was buried in her pillow. She looked like a teenager with no problem, no troubles. He walked over to the window, and opened the curtains. Kiya's eyed twitched a little, but she didn't wake up. The surveillance team was walking around the house. Everyone was dressed as an ordinary person. Rubbing their hands to keep them warm. Winter was slowly seeping in the atmosphere.

It had been a week since they had last talked. She tried to talk to him, but he kept running away. For the first time in his life, he was scared. His heart changes when she is around him. She brings out a new life in him. He can't allow that, can he? No matter how much they laugh, no matter how many jokes they crack, they know their life is not an enchanting fairytale. Their life is full of risks, dangers and devils. He cannot let Kiya get involved in their lives.

He turned to look at Kiya again. She slept like an angel on her right hand. Her hair sprawled over the pillow. Her fiery red fringe stood out among the mess. It was a beautiful and amusing sight for him. She was so peaceful. A low mumble left her lip and KD jumped in surprise. He stopped breathing, to hear her clear.

"I miss you papa'" She was mumbling. She kicked her blanket and curved herself, warming herself. He frowned and pulled the blanket over her again. He removed the locks that fell over her face. The peaceful girl had turned violent all of a sudden. KD couldn't figure her out. A small smile adorned his face as he though about their previous encounters.

"You never fail to amuse me Chicklet!" He whispered. She didn't move an inch. Instead she slept as if tired for years. "Good Morning!"

He took a deep breath and stood up from her bed. He turned around and started walking towards the door when he heard a soft whisper.

"Nor do you."

And yet again I give a combined review😳I am a bad reviewer,ain't I.
