I tried to watch saawariya like million times...and I always fall asleep. I only see songs and the end of the movie That movie can be the cure for insomniac people. You'll fall asleep easily

Jess - I'm sorry but I have no clue what you're talking about. How is MNIK similar to Barfi? 😕 If it opened well and then dropped after, it only shows that whatever success the movie had, was a result of SRK's star power. and Black wasnt a silent movie and neither was it a hit, it was declared average, that too when it had Bollywood's biggest star ever- Amitabh Bachan. Anurag Basu clearly said in his interview, he didnt even have a proper script when he approached Ranbir, only because he had full faith that Ranbir was talented enough to improvise on the spot and not depend on the director.

and that's exactly my point. Critics bashed the movie left and right but what was unanimous was their praise for Ranbir. So many critics said that he was the best (and the only good thing) about the movie. Sonam actually wasnt that annoying in the movie. She started acting stupid post IHLS and Aisha. She was pretty decent in Saawariya and Delhi6.

I liked the songs of saawariya. I would've never watched ranbir's movies if there was no imtiaz, no dp and no koko. I watched wake up sid, BAH and rockstar for them
