Varun Dhawan has totally been asked to ape SRK, his arrogant body language,
even the way he crinkles his eyes and pouts his mouth, LOL! His aggressiveness
in the way he embraces the girl.
Sid is himself. He seems to be playing this cool calm all put together level headed
seedha saadha. And thats the way he came across in his live interviews on tv so this
is himself. No acting required here.
There is NOTHING of Kareena Kapoor in this girl, neither in looks nor acting. She
doesnt overact or make undue expressions, she seems to be more laid back.
But the face is a kind of vacant prettiness, it doesnt hv the depth of someone older
who's lived thru experiences. Maybe she'll acquire that later as she grows up.
Pooja her elder sis had much more fizz. Her casting probably had as much to do
with the fact that her dad is Mahesh Bhatt as any other factor.
Actually the whole feel of the movie is not youth as such but 'tweens'. Honestly.
Todays youth is so much more mature and discerning. This movie seems like its
made more for tweenies and young teenagers...who dont mind generic good looks,
music, clothes.
