My response to Shaheer's reasons

I have to admit that Shaheer's response has left me feeling quite confused & restless. I don't know why, but I feel he had a golden opportunity to clarify lots of so-called 'speculations' , but he chose not to. I also think Shaheer hasn't cited the real reasons behind deactivating/deleting his Twitter account. Of course, some of the reasons that he has mentioned are completely valid. Bashing someone in public, by sending them direct tweets in filthy language can never be justified at any cost. I personally have never indulged in it so far & will not do so in future as well. It is just not my cup of tea.

Absolutely correct dee!Such a sensible and matured writing! a true fan who has loved ss2 unconditionally also expects certain clarity in return. The entire fan base who have nver bashed them are left wondering where did it go wrong? where did we step in that Shaheer had to step out? Me with an auditor's eye have tried to analyse and can say that this was inevitable as with the low trp and immense magic Shaheer and Soumya had created a magic world and let us glide in it...whether everything was a fiasco or truth is yet to be revealed and we will believe only when we get to know from Ss2. Till then I personally feel Shaheer could not take it any further as he was almost walking at the edge! This would help him in escaping from direct hits from his fan base on his personal and professional life! Only it would make the matter worse and more intriguing! We often hear about the word called TRANSPARENCY in the world of Governance. Today Shaheer would earn more respect and can avoid further controversies if a few words from him on his personal and professional ground could clarify a lot of fantasies and doubts resting in the fans mind.

Smita, Thank You, this was a much needed post at this juncture of truth & lie, pretence & faith, a point when there is so much turmoil & mistrust' I am at a loss too after reading the conversation that Nimmis source had with Shaheer. Each & every reason that he gave for leaving twitter & deactivating his account was fully justified & was proof enough of fans crossing the fine line between being a true fan and a fanatic. Somewhere down the line we forgot the actual meaning of the" love & respect that we pledged to them", we forgot the humane quality in us and that each person whether a commoner or a celebrity deserves to be treated fair, & we have no right to take decisions on their behalf."

But what hurt me was that along with all these valid allegations against the fans not even once did he appreciate the love, & support that he got from the fans constantly who the least to say used everything in their power to cheer him up even when he felt low. At the same time, as Smita said, he could have used this opportunity to clear a lot of confusions amongst fans regarding various 'speculations' about his professional/personal life which he is aware of. & he chose not to. This "not clearing the air" by Shaheer now & also before deactivaing his T a/c leave a feeling of hurt somewhere. However, me, a fan, respect that decision too as we surely don't know the whole story or reasons behind it. As a fan, who fully trusts SS2 I would assume that indeed there were some very relevant factors which stopped him to do so.. and in due course of time we would come to know all.

A lot of speculations are going on now even regarding the truth behind the contents of this post. I just think that since I believed the older posts made by the TM where she gave information about SS2 on sets that made us so happy and I chose to believe her that time, now too I should be not be biased and mistrust her. Moreover, IMO, she would not make such a post using Shaheers words if there was no truth in it knowing well that the actors visit the Forum sometimes too!

I believe in my instincts & in "Shamya", so instead of trying to give my judgement about them being right or wrong or them hurting/ decieving us or not I would also store my judgement for future till I hear anything from SS2 directly or till my faith is completely disproved by their own words/actions. Till then I would be neutral & keep my faith and hope that all would be fine at the "right time". So, all said & done I would like to keep my trust on Shamya intact, giving them some Time, Space & Patience which they might be really in need at this moment.

They say, a person should be assumed to be innocent until proven guilty. Similarly, I believe we ought to give Shaheer & Somya the benefit of doubt until they clear the air themselves & come out clean. I say this not only for the speculations abt their personal lives, but also for the buzz surrounding their future projects.

The truth has to come out some day & it will. It might take longer than we all can wait, but it definitely won't take forever.

All we need to do is try to be more positive, patient, tolerant & open-minded. I know its easier said than done, but this is the only way we can trust them & give them their personal space during the wait & watch period.
