I can't help but laugh at the way the Scene was interpretedπ€£π€£π€£.π€£
That scene, the scripting and its execution was SIMPLE enough ki anybody who saw that scene could have very well interpreted the idea behind Gulabiya's words and the context with which she uttered them. But No! we had to Twist it in our own way and Justify Takur Vikram Singh Right?
Lets be fair guys an not twist facts.
Gulabiya is a mother who knows the best and worst for her child, she loves Sugni and wants to protect her from the heartbreak that she knows her daughter is yet to suffer. Except for Gulabiya (After Sugni Ofcourse) nobody... not even TVS knows the extent to which Sugni braces her dream of wanting to lead a life of Dignity and the extent of Damage it can do to her when she gets to know that her Dreams her hopes have been shattered by the very man she loved and that she- Sugni too have been treated by nothing less than a Bedhini.
Yes Gulabiya said that its better Vikram does the Sarr Dakai ritual instead of marrying Sugni. So what???? When Gulabiya uttered those words you guys felt bad, felt that she was a worthless mother. And what about Vikram who is actually going to put it into practice??
Vikram Marrying Sugni is nothing but him doing the Sarr Dakkai, because when Rewa is alive, Sugni will never be considered as a Wife, she will never get the respect and dignity that a wife is expected to get in the society and will always be taunted as Vikram's Keep, a home wrecker and nothing more.
For now Sugni will never understand the reasons behind the actions of her mother, because firstly she is madly in love with a man who she believes is being truthful to her, and secondly every time Gulabiya tries to give Sugni proof of TVS's first wife being alive she fails because somebody erases it off on time.
And as a mother Gulabiya is doing all that a mother should do. Knowing everything how can she leave her daughter to suffer? She will try to do all that she can won't she? Yes Sugni will suffer a heart break once the truth is out, does this mean that she will wait until that day? No! No mother would do that...not even Gulabiya.
Cheers Viji
