"Leave me, you bas***d" she was trying to get out of their grip.
"No baby" came the drunk voices.
"Fu*ck off"
The more she tried to leave, the more tightening the grip became.
"But..." he stuttered "why should I?"
Khushi had tears rolling down her face.
"Oh god help me" she chanted in her mind.
It was definitely not her day today first Arnav got upset at her, which saddened her for some reason, and now this guy harassing her.
"Please help me god" It was visible on her face how helpless she was, and they were at the corner where it was hard to see them.
"Stop" someone said in a husky voice, so known to Khushi, it sent chils down her spine.
"You wanna fight?" the drunk guy said still not leaving Khushi's hand.
"I heard the lady say leave her alone" saying that the owner of the husky voice punched him straight in the face.
"Arnav, you here" Khushi's voice was filled with worry.
"I'm fine Khushi" Arnav said in an indifferent tone.
"Don't you ever DARE misbehave with another woman EVER again!" Arnav muttered in a no joke tone.
The drunk guy, just walked away fearing his life, knowing this was the wrong person to mess with.
"Khushi, are you ok?"
"I could've managed, I didn't need your help" Khushi uttered impolitely.
"Yea, I saw that" Arnav's voice dripping sarcasm.
"Let's go home" Arnav asked knowing very well what Khushi's reply would be.
Khushi just walked on as if, she never heard him.
"Khushi, look I'm sincerely sorry."
Khushi still kept on walking.
"Where are you going to go at this time?"
"Why does it matter to you? huh" she pushed him
"It matters to me damn it, it really does"
"Why?! Why does it matter?"
"Because...Because... I... I care about you, you're my friend."
"Whatever" Khushi walked away.
Somewhere inside them they both knew why it mattered but they chose to ignore it.
"I'm really sorry Khushi, look I'm holding my ears"
All this had no effect on Khushi, because she still kept on walking.
"Here" Arnav started doing push up's on the sidewalk, to try and change her mind.
"Arnav, what are you doing?"
"I'm sorry" he said with the cutest face.
"Arnav, are you stupid, you see me walking this way, the way to the house where we live in right?!"
"Oh" Arnav looked around hoping no one saw him.
The rest of the walk home was quiet, they both reached home and went into their respective rooms without saying a word to each other. Neither of them were sleeping, they were wide awake and it was all coming together why.

"Anjali I know, this exactly isn't the perfect way to ask you this, and to be honest I don't know what the perfect way would be." Arjun knelt down on one knee after saying this.
Anjali was surprised with what was happening in front of her eyes.
"Pinch me please" Anjali muttered.
"Will you marry me Anjali & spend the rest of your life with me?" Arjun asked in the sweetest voice.
"Yes, ofcourse yes" Arjun had hinted this a few times but Anjali didn't know it was coming now.
"I love you Anjali, and I can safely say that you've been the greatest thing that happened to me.
"If it's meant to be, it will happen" Anjali replied "I love you so much too."
They hugged each other very tightly after this.

"Hey Khushi" Arnav said trying to make things not awkward between them.
"Hi" Khushi replied back.
"About last night..." he started.
"Hmm..."
"I'm sorry, I know I shouldn't have behaved like that with you, but..." he stopped
"I forgive you Arnav" she had a big cheeky smile on her face.
"No, it's not about that.."
"Oh so, you don't want me to forgive you" Khushi had a playful glint in her eyes.
"No, I do" Arnav looked like a confused soul, not knowing what to say next.
"So, I forgive you" Khushi smiled.
"I know, but it's not that" Arnav said baffled.
"Arnav make up your mind do you want me to forgive you, or do you not."
"No, I do I do" Arnav felt embarrassed.
"I'm sorry but I just want to say I love you" he just uttered it out "I know that you have moved on, but I just had to tell you, the reason for my mood swings is you, I love you so damn much."
"Arnav" Khushi started in an angry tone.
Arnavs face dropped cause he knew what was about to come.
"I know you idiot." she laughed.
"What the?" Arnav muttered.
"Because it's not only you, I guess we both just never moved on." Khushi said "What you feel is what I feel, and when we come together, it's the reason our hearts start beating faster, and we fight, because we don't know what to name this feeling."
"I love you Khushi"
"I love you too Arnav"
They both broke into a kiss, and headed on to the same cafe, they first broke up in, because If It's Meant To Be no one can prevent it.
