These are just my personal preference. It is not like "Who is better".

1) JATIN-LALIT for their excellent melody and yet simple songs.

2. A.R.RAHMAN for his uniqueness, and ID for his classical based songs

3. AADESH SHRIVASTAV although not very successful as a MD, but always tried to be original, and tried to be classical based.

4. PRITAM and VISHAL SHEKHAR for few good and club songs, although most of it is copied. Very less originality.

5. and my HIMMY BHAIYYA- the less said is better. Loved his "Tere Naam" and Banaras. As a MD, he is not bad, but he screws up all his songs by singing.

Would have loved to see the name of SEL here.

you really cannot put ARR with anyone here. He is a class apart and cannot even be compared to these other MDs. Jl are good, but most songs are copied from ARabic andother languages. nothing original. Where is SEL 0n the list? They seem very promising, I guess once the nasal fad is over.
