Shiv agrees to marry Anandi in Balika Vadhu

]Dadisa's (Surekha Sikri) desire of getting Anandi (Pratyusha Banerjee) married to Shiv (Siddharth Shukla) has finally started to bear fruits in Colors' Balika Vadhu.

In the coming episodes, Dadisa and the entire family will put the proposal of Anandi's marriage in front of Shiv and in a dramatic turn of events, Shiv will agree to wed Anandi. had recently reported about the family's surprise birthday party for Shiv in their haveli. It is during the celebration that they ask Shiv whether he wants to marry Anandi. Though Shiv gives his nod, Anandi is unaware of this development.

As a twist in the tale, Ashima (Reena) who is excited about Shiv's upcoming marriage will call Anandi to congratulate her and this is when Anandi will get to know of this alliance. We hear that Anandi will refuse to marry Shiv.

When contacted, Surekha Sikri told us, "Yes, it is true that the family asks Shiv to marry Anandi. Dadisa has been trying her best to get Anandi settled in life, as the whole family feels responsible for Anandi's present state. Let's hope this story line takes the show to a new high."
