Is the Roadies host saying goodbye to his loyal channel?

The title of this article will undoubtedly catch your attention. In fact, it was the rumour that took Twitter by storm over the weekend. But Rannvijay Singh is not leaving MTV!

However news released by MTV themselves on Twitter over the weekend left the VJ turned actor's Twitter page peppered with comments from worried fans. Rannvijay however went on to confirm that he wasn't leaving MTV. The 'Mod' star tweeted and posted on his Facebook page, "Guy's don't believe everything. I'm not quitting MTV, thanks for all the love".

The entire saga was a planned hoax by MTV in true 'Bakra' style. However the reaction on the social media front to the rumor is symbolic of how Rannvijay has turned into an icon with the success of Roadies with Rannvijay Singh trending on Twitter over the course of the weekend.

Fans tweeted in saying that Roadies would never be the same without him, a general conception for everyone who has followed the show since its inception. Luckily Mr. Singh was out there to calm his fans down. Like he said - "A true Roadie never quits!"

Exactly , Arine! IMO , Ranvijay is the best VJ of MTV. And I don't think none will be able to take his place. Moreover , this year 'Roadies' is not so interesting and if he quits , more viewers will lost their interest in a second.
