"That kind of love never dies" is a famous famous quote from The Vampire Diaries . It was said by the badass villain Klaus in context of Stefan and Elena. It was said during a time when Stefan had turned evil , dumped Elena and gone on the bad side so that his brother Damon could live. Yet, Klaus insisted that it didn't matter how dark or evil Stefan was trying to be , he can never stop loving Elena.
And then, we have UV. No, he is not a pure soul like Stefan sacrificing his love and life for the people he loves. He is your Dark Knight who walks the line between good and bad. When he is good, he is an angel. When he is bad , its 'run baby run'. UV has done his share of bad but you cannot take away the purity of his love for Maanyata. The dark conniving prince becomes an innocent , glowing , surrendering man in love whenever he sets his eyes on Maanyata. His love for her has increased by leaps and bounds everytime Maanyata has said 'no' to him, his love has only gotten more passionate and intense everytime she has rejected him. Maanyata , J , GR, BR , Aakash - they all have tried to kill the love that he feels for Maanyata but failed. UV loves and will always love Maanyata , irrespective of what she feels about him. Its the kind of love that people talk about , hope for , dream about but it only comes to one in a million.
UV picked her back from the streets , metamorphed her into a civil human being , motivated her to the extent that the crown of Devgarh sits on her head today. His hand has always been on her back lest she falls. His love is not selfless but its giving , surrendering , all encompassing. There is no tint in his feelings. Had it been so, he would have never been able to wake her up from her death sleep - he did, his love did. The monster that he is, even in his worst , his heart is good and pure.
Don't worry about Maanyata hating UV or taking revenge on him. UV has made mistakes and retribution is important, He may not have killed Aakash but he has done his share of mistakes. In order for him to emerge the human being that we want him to be , the angel that he is inside , the darkness needs to be washed. UV should go through redemption even if its harsh. If Maanyata loves him and is meant to be his , she will find her way to the hero inside the villain.
Still, even if Maanyata loves UV tomorrow, falls for him, she may never be able to love him as much as he loves her. Not because she is incapable or something. Its just that UV is one of those people who love like nobody else can - their emotions are heightened . Exceptionally.
That reminds me . Remember Rehaan and Zooni from 'Fanaa'. Rehaan used to joke once in a while that Zooni doesn't love Rehaan as much as he loves her. And that made Zooni burst into tears.
