~Emptiness~
Rey entered his room late evening and was very frustrated. He recollected for the umpteenth time, that evening. The evening when the love of his life betrayed him, left him all alone, breaking his heart.
"You have no right to play with my emotions!" he screamed as if accusing her and yelling at the top of his voice could any way minimize his pain.
"No Rey!" he commanded himself.
"No, I won't think about you anymore." he told himself as tears streamed down his eyes.
"I'll just take a quick nap and it will be fine." saying this he lied down on the bed and shut his eyes forcefully.

He felt as if she was somewhere near to him. He could feel her presence.
"Rey" she whispered and came closer to have a clear view.
"Kriya" he mumbled and a lone tear escaped her eye hearing her name from him after so long.
She longed to see him, feel him and ease all his pain. She so desperately wanted to get back to him, never to leave him ever again. But, she couldn't. She was tied down by the promise she made to her mother and had no intention of breaking it, even if she had to sacrifice her love.
She caressed his cheeks, feeling them for the last time.
"You hate me, right?" she asked him knowing fully well that he was sleeping and won't answer.
"Well, I didn't leave you with any reason why you should still love me."
"I wish I could share my problems with you, share with you the reason why I did this to you."
"But, I couldn't let you ruin your life, waiting for me. I couldn't be that selfish. So, I had to let you go, so that you move on." she sniffled as she said this.
"There is one more thing I never got a chance to tell you." she paused and spoke up after brief moments of silence.
"I love you Rey. Always have and always will." she smiled through her tears and placed a soft kiss on his forehead.
"I have to go now." she answered hesitantly and wiped her tears with the back of her hand.
"And one more thing Reyaansh Singhania." she turned around and continued.
"This is not the end. You and I are inseparable. I have complete faith in destiny that it will get us back together." she said confidently and rushed out of the door.
"No! Don't go!" Rey shouted and got up from his sleep.
"Kriya!" he shouted calling out her name but there was no one except him in the room.
"Don't leave me." he pleaded as tears trickled down his eyes.
"Where you really there?" he asked himself.
"I love you baatcutter!" he whispered.
"I love you for not hating me." she spoke to herself and covered her mouth with her hand, trying to hide her sniffs.
...
ok, so how was it? I know it was sad. But I felt it was much required. Since, our Kriyaansh are eternal, they are bound to be together, no matter what happens. I wanted to write this to really show that Kriya and Reyaansh are two very strong characters, they aren't so shallow, as projected by the CV's lately.
Their love wasn't a puppy love that they can so easily accept that their relationship is over. It is this love and affection which is everlasting. Hence, Rey still loves her no matter how she hurt him and Kriya still finds hope that they will be together some day.
