Chalo, yeh rahe aaj ka update...another sad episode 😠Very beautifully done again but I want Toasty to wake up! Hopefully by the end of tomorrow's episode...it'll be Wednesday for sure if not Tuesday 😊
Written Update: April 9th, 2012:
Part 1
Nani ma tells Ved that she has to go home urgently as she has important work. Sudha gets angry and taunts her but Nani ma doesn't say anything and just tells Ved that they have to go home quickly...they take Gyaan with them too. Sudha is furious that Nani ma thinks there are more important things than Toasty and praying for her.
Outside the temple, Ved asks her why she needs to go home so soon. Nani ma says there's important work...she asks if ayurvedic medicine is found here...not the tablets but ingredients. Ved says yes...Nani ma has Ved write down everything she needs from the store and sends Gyaan off to get them. After Gyaan leaves, she asks Ved if there is a jungle nearby. Ved is confused why Nani ma wants to go to a jungle but tells her there is a national park near Film City.
At the hospital ðŸ˜, Tej is sitting by Toasty, gently holding her hand, and stroking where the IV is placed. He then tries to massage away the bruise she has near the IV. Sudha walks into the room and Tej looks back (Ravi does such an awesome job at playing a half-dead Tej...he looks so exhausted and depressed...I can't praise him enough <3) Tej looks back at Toasty like he doesn't want to let go for even a second, but stands up and lets Sudha sit by her. She asks Toasty to get up and tells her that she brought vibooti and puts some on her forehead. Tej watches sadly and pained...Sudha tells Toasty, you'll get better really soon now, you see. She looks at Tej and gets up. She holds Tej's face and tells him that God will show some kind of a miracle or another and Toasty will get better. Tej determinately says he will have to show one for sure. Sudha thinks to herself, Bhagwaan, you will have to cure my bachi somehow.
Ved and Nani ma are climbing through jungle bushes and trees, trying to find a certain plant that Nani ma needs. Ved wonders why they couldn't just buy it...Nani ma says they need the fresh leaves. Nani ma steps on a thorn at one point and her foot is bleeding...Ved asks her to tell him which plant it is and he will get it. Nani ma says that if Hanumanji had sent someone else to look for the sanjivani, who knows if he would have found it or not...let Hanuman do his own work. They keep searching and Nani ma finally finds the plant...the time is 2 and so they head back as they only have 15 hours left till Toasty's 72 hours are up.
Part 2
Gyaan gets to the store and realizes it is closed and doesn't open until 4. He sees the shutter is a little open so someone must be inside...he knocks and the owner opens the shutter and yells at him. Gyaan tries to explain that he really needs to get the medicine but the owner tells him to come back at 4 and closes the shutter on him. Gyaan doesn't know what to do.
Back at home, Nani ma and Ved get back. Ved goes to get water for her and Nani ma asks PItaji why he didn't go to the shop...Dadu explains that they just decided that they would keep the shop closed until Toasty gets better. Nani ma tells them that they should keep everything the same as when Toasty was there so that when she comes back all better, she will see the house and everything just as she left it. Malti notices the scratches on Nani ma's arms and asks about it...Nani ma tells them that she has one possible cure for Toasty but she won't tell anyone about it until it is done and asks them not to ask...she says she hopes that Toasty will get better. Pitaji leaves for the hospital and to send Pashu back home. He tells Ved to go the shop. Dadaji says that Ved, Gyaan, and Nani ma had left together so where is Gyaan? Everyone wonders.
Gyaan is wondering what to do...he sees that the window is open. He asks God to forgive him and he climbs through the window and puts together everything he needs into a bag. He decides to put all the money he has there instead of counting it out. As he leaves the guy wakes up and Gyaan hurriedly tells him that he urgently needs these things and he kept more than enough money on the counter. He apologizes and jumps from the window and leaves.
Part 3
Nani ma gets to work putting together her special kaada for Toasty. Toasty is simultaneously shown in the hospital and Tej in full tension pacing in front of her room.
Tej is sitting in full depressed, frustrated, helpless mode and Pitaji comes walking down the hall to him and puts his hand on him. Tej jumps a little out of his soch and he asks Pitaji to sit down and Pitaji tells him that he met Pashu on the way in. Tej asks he didn't come as well...Pitaji tells him that he sent him home and he tries to suggest Tej to go home for a little bit as well but Tej refuses and sits back down saying he's fine. (Mera bechaara Tej You can tell he's starting to lose a grip on his sanity while watching Toasty in this haalat I really hope Toasty wakes up tomorrow ) He tells PItaji to sit, half aware and half still lost he looks here and there. (He's too good yaar...he looks so lost and forlorn like he doesn't know what to do) Pitaji looks helpless (Darshan was awesome in this scene as well..portraying the father who is worried about his bahu as well as worried about the state of his son who is in as bad of a state watching Toasty in a coma) and he asks Tej what the doctor said. Tej starts rambling nonsensically saying I spoke with him...it's okay...the hospital is good...the facilities are good...the pharmacy stays open all day...uh, a specialist came...he comes every couple of hours to check on Toasty...nothing has happened...but she won't come out...nothing..something...he pauses for a second and then he says Pitaji, seeing her amongst those machines, laying there with that oxygen mask and the tube running into her wrist and how red it's become there...I can't bear seeing it...I can't bear seeing it...he shatters completely and starts sobbing...Pitaji hugs him and Tej cries that if anything happens to Toasty, I'll die...I'll die, Pitaji. Pitaji says nothing will happen. He tries comforting Tej but he himself looks pained and worried
The doctors come out and the specialist says Mr. Tej...Tej gets up and pulls himself together real quick to listen. The specialist says that they are doing their best and giving the best medicine to Taniya ji. He tells them that in most cases they don't believe in miracles but we hope for a miracle in some cases. There are very few hours left and we hope there will be a miracle in this case as well. He tells them to have faith and he and the usual doctor leave. Tej says it'll happen...a miracle will happen.
Nani ma is shown working on her kaada again and Toasty is shown in the hospital. Nani ma finishes and packs some in a dibba to take to Toasty. She decides that she will take Prachin with her to the hospital.
The doctor comes out of Toasty's room and Pitaji asks him, there are only a few hours left and Toasty still hasn't gained consciousness. The doctor says we are trying our best but...Tej gets tense and asks but, but what? The doctor says sometimes we feel like we are giving our 100% but sometimes in front of fate, it is only 10%. Tej says we're very worried...please don't talk in a roundabout way, just tell us clearly what the matter is. The doctor tells them that Toasty has a very low chance of surviving. Sudha breaks down against an equally broken Lalit. Tej starts to cry again and says what are you saying? If you say like this at the last moment ...we put all our faith in you and if you say that now then we will all break apart...we'll die. The doctor says that Toasty's body isn't reacting to their medicine so even big doctors can't do anything. He says now everything is in God's hands. Tej shatters again, holding his head in his hand and sobbing, and Pitaji, who is also crying and worried, watches his son break into pieces before his eyes. Sudha looks up and behind sobbing Tej comes Nani ma and Prachin...Nani ma puts her hand on Tej's shoulder and Tej turns to her. Nani ma prays in her head to God asking him let my kaada act like sanjivani for Toasty and give my Toasty her life back.
Pre-Cap: Pitaji is angry and says you already made one of bahus sick with your kaada and now do you want to kill the other one with it. Nani ma says nothing like this will happen...if anything happens from this kaada then it will only be good for Toasty. Sudha is furious and yells enough...I don't know what's in my bachi's fate but I won't let you ruin whatever is in her fate...I don't want this kaada.
I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens tomorrow. Don't really have much gupshup for this episode. I just hope Toasty wakes up tomorrow...it seems like either the doctor or Tej (probably the doctor because Tej looks like he's barely conscious himself...he looks half dead already) will allow Nani ma to try to give the kaada and Lalit will make Sudha understand as he usually does. Nani ma isn't really to blame for Toasty's haalat but since the situation began from her, it makes sense that the situation gets better from her hands as well. Can't wait to see tomorrow's episode.
