Hello guys, I am back with another FF; again something I thought of as you can tell by now that I am totally crazy and have become Karan & Krystle fanatic. Just an idea that came to my mind and I wrote this at 4 AM (yes crazy)!! Thanks for wonderful comments for my other OS- Night to be cherished. I hope you all enjoy this OS as well- its slightly lengthy as opposed to the last OS so I hope you don't find it boring. Please, please, DO comment, makes my effort worthwhile. I will await your feedback. Enjoy!
Its
been three years since Jeevika and Viren's marriage; time just flew
by. "It seems just like yesterday when I came into this house
along with the sadness of leaving Manvi behind in Rishikesh",
thought Jeevika to herself laying on her bed but now she had no
reason to be sad as Manvi became part of Vadera household after
marrying Virat. Who had thought that those who used to fight 24/7
would one day become a romantic couple; she was happy that Manvi
would forever be with her and especially with somone like Virat who
loves her so much. She recalls the night when Manvi came into the
house after marrying Virat and a smile automatically forms on her
face.
FLASHBACK:
After
the wedding, the couple was welcomed by everyone in the house and
after doing all the rituals, Jeevika and Viren were talking to them.
Jeevika:
Mannu, main khush hoon aaj sirf isliye nahi ki tu abh hamesha mere
saath yahan rahegi balki isliye ki tujhe Virat jaisa humsafar mila jo
tumse itna pyar karta hai. Virat, mujhe poora yakeen hai ki tum Manvi
ke liye ek bahut ache humsafar sabit hoge aur Mannu abh teri bhi
Virat aur is ghar ke liye zimedari hai, samji.
Manvi:
Haan didi samaj gayi
Virat:
Bhabhi main Manvi ka pati baad main hoon, pehle aapka dewar to us haq
se aap abhi mujhe daant sakti hain; main apko koi shikayat ka mauka
nahi doonga, promise
Viren:
Jeevika ka to pata nahi par haan agar tune meri saali ko zara sa bhi
tang kiya na to main to tujhe nahi chodunga
Virat:
Bhai mujhe apni jaan bahut pyaari hai isliye main koi risk lene hi
nahi wala; acha abh hum log jaayein ke aur class lagne wali hai, kyun
kya hai na aap to shaadi wali raat bhabhi ko akela chod kar chale
gaye the, par mera aisa koi irada nahi hai
Viren:
Udaale beta mazak, chal tu bhi kya aish karega...jaa goodnight!
Jeevika:
Goodnight Virat, Goodnight Mannu!
Jeevika
hugged Manvi and both couples retired to their respective rooms.
PRESENT:
Remembering
such moments brings happy tears to Jeevika's face; she thanks god for
giving her such good luck to have such household and moreover, a life
partner like Viren. There couldn't be a better choice for her, she
thought. And thinking about Viren, she remembers its his birthday
today and she gets up to plan a small surprise for him at midnight.
Today she was planning to gift something very precious to Viren, she
thought to herself. It was 11:30 when Jeevika slowly got up from the
bed to sneak into the kitchen and bring the special cake that she had
prepared earlier. She came inside the room and waited till the clock
struck 12 AM and she went and sat close to Viren. She bent and
whispered "Happy Birthday Viren" and placed a small kiss on his
cheek and blushed. Viren's face lit up with a smile and he slowly
opened his eyes to see Jeevika so close to him; he was just lost in
her eyes. He engulfed her in his arms and brought her close to
himself and whispered, "Thank you"! Jeevika smiled back getting
up and Viren also got up by now. She held his hands and made him
follow her to the sofa to cut the cake. Viren was indeed surprised at
her planning and he couldn't stop smiling and cherishing this moment.
Jeevika:
Viren, aapne har saal mera janamdin bahut hi special banaya hai par
is saal jo tohfa main apko dene ja rahi hoon voh apke liye bahut hi
special hoga.
Viren
(holding her hands): Acha aisa kaunsa gift hai, main bhi to dekhoon
Jeevika
took off the cover from cake's plate and held cake in her hands.
Viren sat there little confused as to what is so special in the cake.
Jeevika smiled sensing his queries and to end his queries, she placed
the cake in front of him and sat there to see his reaction.
Viren:
Birthday Cake?
Jeevika:
Hmm birthday cake, aap padhiye to sahi
Viren
looked closely to read what was written on the cake and was
dumbfounded; Jeevika was smiling to herself that him being a such a
reputated lawyer could not understand this simple hint. Viren stared
at the cake again and then it suddenly hit him and he looked towards
Jeevika who blushed and nodded saying yes to confirm what he saw is
true.
Viren
(reading the cake): Happy Birthdayyy, PAPA!!!
His
loud happy voice suddenly became teary and he choked on his words;
Jeevika held his hands understanding his emotions. He could not
believe it and was unable to talk. He slowly got up from his chair
and Jeevika did too; she held his hands and came close to him.
Jeevika:
Happy Birthday Viren, soon to be a Papa!
Viren,
due to lack of words, simply just engulfed her in a hug and they
stood there enjoying the moment to themselves. He broke the hug and
kissed Jeevika's forehead.
Viren:
Jeevika...main...papa!!! Tumhe kab pata chala?
Jeevika:
Bas kuch hi dino pehle
Viren:
Kuch dino pehle? To bataya kyun nahi?
Jeevika:
Us waqt bata deti to yeh apka birthday itna special kaise banta aur
waise bhi main confirm karna chahti thi pehle
Viren:
Jeevika...main bata nahi sakta ki aaj tumne mujhe tohfe ke roop
main kitni badi khushi di hai aur yeh janamdin main kabhi nahi
bhooloonga. Aisa gift na kabhi kisi ne diya hai aur naahi de sakta
hai, thank you Jeevika...for such special gift aur meri zindagi main
aane ke liye. Congratulations to you too, Mrs. Vadhera.
He
pulled her close to herself and placed a kiss on her lips; deepening
it and Jeevika just held onto him tightly totally lost in the moment.
They broke the kiss to breathe and Jeevika blushed; she signalled him
to cut the cake. He held her hand and they both cut the cake
together. Jeevika fed him the cake 'Happy Birthday' and Viren smiled
back and fed her cake as well saying 'Thank You, love'. The night had
been definetely became special; both laid next to each other engulfed
in a hug to never part and welcome the new guest; symbol of their
love.
8 MONTHS LATER
8
months have passed and Viren and Jeevika were becoming eager day by
day to welcome their little bundle of joy. Viren had become even more
caring; paying attention to even the smallest thing and needs of
Jeevika. It was not easy to handle a pregnant women going through
hormonal change every now and then but Viren did not complain even
once. It was almost 6:30 in the evening when Viren left his office
when he got call from Jeevika. He smiled picking up knowing that his
pregnant wife must be craving something now.
Viren:
Hello Jeevika
Jeevika:
Viren aap kahan hai is waqt?
Viren:
Bas abhi office se nikla, raaste main hoon
Jeevika:
Very good to aap ek kaam kijiye, aap please aate waqt mere liye
chocolate pastry le aayenge?
Viren
(smiled): Jee bilkul jaisa apka hukam. Main lekar aata hoon.
Jeevika:
Ok thank you, I will wait.
He
hung up and quickly drove to the nearest bakery and ordered pastries
just when Jeevika called again.
Viren:
Haan Jeevika bas maine pastries le li hain, ghar aanewala hoon
Jeevika:
Nahi main yeh kehne ke liye phone kiya ki mera abh pastry ka mood
nahi hai
Viren
stood there shocked.
Viren:
Abhh...umm...acha to phir kya lekar aaun?
Jeevika:
Mera na ice cream khane ka man kar raha...mango flavour
Viren:
Acha lekin please abh mere aane tak dubara mood mat change kar lena
Jeevika:
Nahi bilkul nahi, aap bas jayiye jaldi.
Viren:
Ok theek hai
He
cancelled the pastries and ordered an ice cream instead; he drove
home before Jeevika could change her mind again. He reached home to
find Jeevika taking a nap, he smiled to himself thinking that she
made him go all the way down to other end to get an ice-cream and
fell asleep. Jeevika woke up around dinner time and after dinner,
Viren brought ice-cream to the room and sat there seeing her enjoying
ice-cream like a little kid. Jeevika offered him some but he smiled
and nodded saying no that she can enjoy her ice-cream. They slept
shortly after 10 PM and around midnight, Viren felt a move to see
Jeevika up and wide awake. He quickly sat up.
Viren:
Jeevika, tum uth kyun gayi? Tabiyat to theek hai? Kuch chahiye?
Jeevika
nodded yes and Viren became attentive all of a sudden to prepare
himself for her next demand.
Viren:
Umm...kya chahiye?
Jeevika
(pouting like a kid): Umm Viren mera na golgappe khane ka man kar
raha hai
Viren
slammed his head hearing her demand and he knows if he says no, she
would just kill him.
Viren:
Umm darling, is waqt raat ke 12 baje tumhara bichara pati kahan se
golgappe layega? Market band ho gayi hongi, lekin I promise kal
office se aate waqt pakka le aaonga
Jeevika:
Viren aap bhi kamaal karte hain, mera mann abhi kar raha hai, kal tak
to mera mood badal jayega.
Viren
sat there thinking what to do at this hour and he knew Jeevika would
not rest till she gets what she wants. He thought to call Virat as he
knows places around that are open late etc; he did not want to
disturb him but he had no choice.
Virat
(sleepy): Hello Bhai
Viren:
Sorry yaar tujhe disturb kar raha hoon par ek favour chahiye thi;
yaar Jeevika ko abhi golgappe chahiye.
Virat's
eyes shot up and he quickly got up along with waking up Manvi.
Virat:
Lekin bhai is waqt?
Viren:
Haan bhai bas pooch mat, mujhe to koi jagah bhi nahi maloom socha
tujhe shayad pata hoga aur waise bhi Jeevika ko akela chod kar nahi
ja sakta
Virat
(rubbing his eyes): Bhai main kuch karta hoon, aap tension mat lo
Viren:
Thanks Yaar
Manvi
sitting next to him was wondering what's happening.
Manvi:
Kya hua Virat, didi to theek haina?
Virat:
Haan lekin bhabhi ki is waqt golgappe khane ki farmaish hai, to vohi
poori karne ja raha hoon, chalo aao mere saath.
They
both went to Virika's room and Jeevika was surprised to see them
there.
Viren:
Voh Virat abhi jayega golgappe lene
Jeevika:
Viren aapne khamaka unhe disturb kar diya
Virat:
Koi baat nahi bhabhi, bas aap wait kijiye main dhoond kar aata hoon
ki is waqt kaunsi market khuli hogi
Manvi:
Virat, suno na...abh agar ja hi rahe ho to please mere liye bhi lete
aana
Virat
(sarcastically): Hanji kyun nahi, apka bhi hukam sar ankhon par
Jeevika
high-fived Manvi and both brothers just looked at each other; both in
miserable conditions while their wives were busy chit-chatting and
laughing. It took Virat more than 40 mins to find a stall and he
finally found one to whom he begged to open up his stall promising
him to pay the triple amount. Finally, slowly walking inside the
house, he grabbed plates and spoons from the kitchen and made his way
to the room. Viren breathed a sigh of relief and the girls just
became ecstatic. Virat and Viren sat there with their hands under
their chins staring at their wives enjoying golgappe and eating them
at such fast speed.
Jeevika:
Maza aa gaya, thank you Virat!
Virat:
No problem bhabhi, shukar kijiye mujhe yahan kisine dekh nahi liya
ghar se jaate huye warna mera to court marshall ho jata
Manvi:
Kitna darte ho tum yaar abhi bhi; waise abhi se practice karlo...kal
ko jab main pregnant hoongi na tab yeh sabh kaam aayega
Soon
she realized what she had said and she blushed making everyone else
smile.
Viren:
Tab main launga apni saali ke liye golgappe
Manvi
(shying): Kya Jiju aap bhi
She
quickly raced out of the room and Virat followed her wishing Jeevika
& Viren goodnight. Few more weeks passed by and it was the 9th
month now; Jeevika could deliever anyday and everyone was just on
their toes to welcome the new guest. It was the final week of the 9th
month and Jeevika was experiencing pain since morning but by the
evening, she went into labour pain. Manvi ran to the living room to
annouce that Jeevika needs to go to the hospital; Virat picked her up
and took her to the car and everyone else rushed to the hospital as
well. Manvi called Viren who was in a meeting that they had taken
Jeevika to hospital. Viren immediately left the office and reached
hospital within half an hour.
He
saw everyone in the hallway and Jeevika had been taken to the
operation theatre. After few minutes, doctor came out with worried
face making everyone else worried as well.
Vanshika:
Doctor, kya baat sabh theek to haina? Jeevika aur bacha?
Doctor:
Dekhiye, delievery main thoda risk hai; humari koshish hai maa aur
bache dono ko bachane ki par is waqt lag raha hai ke hum sirf ek ko
hi bacha sakte hain
This
news just shattered Viren who was speechless; Vanshika held him
consoling and supporting him. Everyone became tensed; Virat was
consoling Manvi.
Viren
(crying): Doctor, mera bacha mere liye meri jaan hai par Jeevika bhi
meri zindagi hai; main bache ke begair jee loonga lekin Jeevika ke
begair nahi; uske bina ek pal bhi main soch nahi sakta, main mar
jaaonga. Doctor, aap please Jeevika ko bacha lijiye
Doctor:
Viren, I am making every effort to keep Jeevika and baby safe
Doctor
left and Viren sat down crying on the chair and everyone became
tensed seeing his condition. Vanshika and Manvi prayed to keep both
Jeevika and the baby safe. Hours passed and with each minute, Viren
was dying to see his wife and kid. Finally around 10 PM at night,
doctor came out with a smile on her face.
Doctor:
Viren, bhagwan ne apki sunli aur apne ashirwad ke roop main ek beta
diya hai, congratulations!
Everyone
became elated hearing this news; Manvi hugged Virat who wiped away
her tears. Vanshika hugged Viren who was still in shock.
Viren:
Doctor...meri Jeevika...kaisi hai?
Doctor:
Maa aur bacha dono theek hain; humne Jeevika ko doosre room main
shift kar diya, aap log mil sakte hain.
Hearing
this, everyone rushed to the room whereas Viren sat back to compose
himself and to come out of the shock. He knew what he went through
for these few hours. In the room, everyone congratulated Jeevika and
held the baby. However; Jeevika's eyes was only searching for Viren.
Just then, her eyes glittered up seeing Viren entering the room;
everyone turned around to see him. He walked around the bed and
grabbed his angel from Manvi and held him in his arms. His tiny body,
hands, fingers, head, he felt everything. He broke down hugging the
baby close to his heart; it was probably the first time when Jeevika
or anyone else had seen Viren cry like this but they all understood
what he went through and how it feels like to hold a baby for first
time. Virat carassed his back consoling him and Viren wiped his eyes
and placed baby back in his crib. He then looked at Jeevika who was
crying too and sat next to her on bed facing her. Everyone else
slowly left the room to give them privacy. Viren held Jeevika's hand
and kissed it; he kissed her forehead and felt her to see she is
really ok; then they both hugged each other crying for a while. Viren
broke the hug slowly and carassed Jeevika's face.
Viren
(crying): Jeevika tum nahi janti yeh kuch hi ghanto main maine kya
kuch nahi mehsoos kiya, doctor ne mujhe apne bache aur tum main se
kisi ek ko chunne ke liye kaha; agar bache ke liye sochta hoon to
tumhe khota hoon aur agar tumhe chunnta hoon to apne bache ko khota
hoon. Tum yeh sunkar naraz hogi lekin maine tumhe chuna, Jeevika...
tum meri zindagi ho, tumhare begair mujhe jeena manzoor nahi hai
Jeevika. Par dekho na bhagwan ne meri sunli aur mujhe tum dono mil
gaye. Thank you, Jeevika...I love you!
Jeevika
(crying): Viren, main samaj sakti hoon aap par kya beeti hogi; bhale
hi maine is bache ko 9 mahine apne pet main paala hai par mera sara
dard aapne uthaya hai; is 9 mahino ke safar main apne ek pal bhi mera
saath nahi choda, meri har ajeeb se ajeeb farmaish aadhi raat ko
aapne poori ki, mere saath jaagte rahe, itna sabh kuch dekhkar
bhagwan kaise na apko Papa banne ki khushi deta; aap mere liye meri
duniya ho, sabhse ache humsafar aur mujhe poora yakeen hai ki aap
world ke best papa honge. I love you too, Viren!
They
engulfed each other in a tight hug crying their fears out and also
having happy tears seeing their love now blossomed into a living
being. They sat there slept in each other's arms and holding each
other to never let go. Next morning, Virat and Manvi came and brought
food for them. Manvi hugged Jeevika and played around with her
nephew.
Manvi:
Are Are dekho, Maasi ko hello bolo!
Virat:
Hello madam, main iska Chacha hoon aur tum meri beeewi to tum uski
Chachi huyi
Manvi:
Zayada smart banne ki koshish mat kiya karo, main tumse shaadi karne
se pehle didi ki behan thi aur aaj bhi hoon to is naate main iski
Maasi huyi aur yeh mujhe Maasi hi kahega
Viren
and Jeevika sat there smiling to each other at their silly fights.
Virat:
Chachi!
Manvi:
Maasi!
Virat:
Chachi Chachi Chachi!
Manvi:
Maasi Maasi Maasi!!!
Jeevika:
Are bas!
Viren:
Yeh voh bada hokar khud decide karega ki kisko kya bulana hai
Manvi:
Acha didi, Jiju iska naam kya socha apne?
Virat:
Mere paas ek perfect naam hai iska, bhabhi?
Jeevika:
Kya?
Virat:
Gol-gappa!
Everyone
laughed and Jeevika remembered Virat going at middle of the night to
get golgappe for her! Viren held the baby and looked at Jeevika. They
smiled and said his name will be " Jeevan"; incorporating both J
& V as alphabets and symbolozing their gift from god; a life for
lifetime "Jeevan Vadera".
