Nikaah paper is not a contract..It is a marriage deed.. it is a legal paper accepted all over the world.. Haq Mehar is an obligation.. It is not a gift.. It is a promise you have to make to your wife and pay the certain amount of money so that at the time of divorce or any mis hap the money is useful for the wife.. Anybody can ask anything.. you give it according to your convinience.. You take a middle way.. communicate with each other and set the amount to which both parties agree on..

Ur using Arabic words that mean what we aready have said in English . The marriage deed is a contract that is accepted in courts in most countries . The haq is ...In surah nisa verse 4 . It's a gift a dowry that the man should give his lady prior to marriage . The Arabic word translates to free gift .

Meaning u have no right to somehow hold it over the girl to take it back in one form or another.. It's free from obligation and he has to do it

If I am not wrong Nikah naama is a legal document as per Indian laws too. I think I read someone posting that Kareena had converted and even was given Muslim name at the time of the marriage.

Coming to the farce wedding looks like they wont even have it this year. Kareena has already signed two big films isnt it? She is at her peak as an actress.

Kshreya, in an interview Saif was asked about conversion, and Kareena was sitting right next to him.

He told the reporter that he doesnt believe in conversion, because he wouldnt wanna take her identity away, and that he can imagine his mum would be concerned if someone was trying to convert him.

He says he knows his mom converted, but it was a different time.

And then he referenced this Marriage Act in the constitution and said, that now we dont have to convert. People of differnet faith can marry under this law.

And at some point in the interview even Kareena gave him this look and said "My love should not be tested in terms fo religion...please" and he just said "ofcourse not"

Never understood how u can ask someone to change .. Y bother falling in love the beginning if u plan on asking them to change. .. This coming from a guy who thinks u can pick who u want to fall in love with. However that would be against every religion out there which conclude the heart belongs to god and he can turn it whatever way he wants. Explains y sometimes Ur unable to return same feelings to the other 😆

His views on conversion, and the fact htat they're of different faiths.

changing religion is changing some1's identity n it shouldnt happen

and on a serious note how many of these so called convert people are actually converted! i dnt believe this thing at all and no way should bebo change her religion for anyone! and im glad saif realizes this too unlike shahid who made poor her a vegeterian like him, selfish chooza!
