The show titled "Rishton Ke Bhanwar Mein Uljhi... Niyati" deals with the dilemma that women face after marriage.

The protagonist Niyati Sharma ( Jayshree Soni) comes from a middle-class family from Nagpur and transforms into a loving wife and a dutiful daughter-in-law after marrying Amber ( Sachin Shroff). She continues to work and follows the family practice of contributing to the household expenses by handing over her earnings to her mother-in-law but at the same time faces the dilemma of supporting her mother and sister.

Producer Dheeraj Kumar says, "The series is an ode to the eternal struggle of women as they try and balance home and work duties. Niyati braves the highs and lows of a married life with her faith and love and holds the family together through thick and thin. It compels the viewers to introspect and empathise, appreciate and respect the women in their life."
