What an idiom! Conclusion of today's episode was exactly the same - one may make plans but cannot control the outcome of it 😊. Indira planned to meet Rishi's parents but was not expecting a denial from him. Rishi planned to go ahead with commitment but never expected Indira to ask about his family 🤣.

Don't get distracted by my emoticon. I know many of you were disappointed by CV's and Indira to say very harshly "to forget her" after the acceptance/proposal yesterday. However, I am glad that this was shown because this is how a relationship should be - honest and transparent.

Indira-Rishi's relationship never grew in a conventional way of attraction, proposing, courting and committing. In this case they got to know each other through regular routine interactions, revealing their strengths and flaws in the process. I can say this from Indira's point of view because it was beautifully presented. Unfortunately I never got to see that development of feelings in case of Rishi. Though if I go back to old epis with out any pre-conceived opinion, when he arrived he never had any love interest for her. He knew her to be a hard-core disciplinarian. Hope CV's show us that growth of feeling on his part later at some point.

So coming back to episode, when Indira asked him to introduce her to his parents, she was perfectly right. When they both know each other in-n-out emotionally why not take the next step. There was no reason to wait. And if at this point, Rishi is backing off inspite of having a very good reason, it does not makes any sense. It indeed gave the impression that he is not at all serious about relationship. Indira proved through her action that she loves him. She tried to change herself for him, but inspite of that Rishi could not convince her of the same. The impression she got was absolutely similar to what Sameer thinks of Rishi's love. As an audience we know why he cannot come out in open, but as a girl I would think absolutely like Indira. I am very happy that inspite of knowing what she will loose in the process she had the guts to say to forget it 👏. This shows how selfless and strong she is.

Further, I did not make head or tail of Rishi-Sameer long drive conversation. I don't want to form any opinion about Sameer. I know he is hurt by Indira's slap and holds grudge against her, but what was the point in passing derogatory remarks about her in front of Rishi? Will wait for understanding this character more.

On lighter note, after raising the mercury level for past two days, aaj CV's humein dharti par le aaye ... jis se weekend mein hum aaraam se Rishi ki tarah teheltein rahein 😆 ... toh phir lag jaatein hain tehelne mein and sehat banatein hain🤣. Have a great weekend!

You are absolutely right Nels. She is just being pratical. I think she takes her relation very strong, and dosent want to loose rishi. She understands rishi who is always with her during ups and downs. I felt very sad for rishi that because of his some secret he almost lost indira. I actually not scared but relaxed cause I know the pre-cap is misleading as always

This is the torture of dramatic irony...
Rishi can't tell Indira the complete truth yet because that would involve exposing Vidit's condition...He knows that Indira will be shattered if she sees her brother in such a state. At the same time, he intends to tell her when the appropriate time arrives, but Sameer's presence is making things even more difficult.
I can understand why Indira is so upset...She's been very tense for the past few episodes - Inder's ill health and Rishi's absence were both weighing on her mind - and I took that tension as the justification for the way she reacted when she saw Rishi at the hospital: she was relieved to see him but her concern for his disappearing act overwhelmed her (hence the panicked string of questions at the medicine counter) until she probably realized that she was expressing a lot more emotion than she had intended to. I liked all the episodes this week because of those little moments where we see how much Indira cares for Rishi...There were plenty of those and they were very well conveyed! At this point, I feel that Indira is afraid of Rishi leaving her (that phone call to ask if he would be coming home...aah, that was sweet!) because she draws strength from him (whether she admits it or not) and he is honestly her only supporter besides Ishaan and Amma.
The things she said to Rishi at the end of the episode were very much in line with the way she is as a person...upfront and honest. She keeps asking him, "Kaun hai aap?" and he can't say anything. She WANTS to trust him completely, but since he is compelled to hide certain aspects of his identity from her, this isn't possible. They're both in a terrible situation...I don't know if I'm the only one who felt that Indira had a bit of a hard time telling Rishi to forget her; despite her strong tone, she did hesitate, and there was pain in her expression.
Let's see how next week goes...Until then the only thought in my mind is: She really loves him...This is so bittersweet.

Pana (hope you don't mind me calling) for the first bold part: She called him because she immediately wanted to put Amma's suggestion in to action and not out of fear. Her hesitancy was because Rishi immediately catches her emotions more than she expresses.

On second bold: I completely agree. Before blurting the words she paused. Indeed she was pained to say it but I am glad that she said it. It was the most appreciating thing to me.

Nels, Pana4ver, you both write beautifully.
good read.

****

And Nels your subject titles make everyone think. They attract everyone. I first read your post and then went to watch the episode, otherwise with today's posts that I read, I didn't feel like watching it. You are also like Ila Bedi with those precaps 😆

Today I had read some posts suggesting how Indira is intelligent and practical etc. I was not knowing what made her so intelligent today. I wondered Indira ko aisi kya jaldi thi ki Rishi ke parents ko milne chali. It was way too practical beyond the state of a girl being in love who just confessed and came back from hospital all exhausted. Yaar these CVs also total mad! Can they not show that Hitler also becomes tired. They always show her getting up from table leaving food, not eating for hours. Please! She must also feel hungry! Here no one wants to show Indira being practical. Look at me Friday, all exhausted ! I dragged myself to office this morn and came back all sleeping and hungry on the way home while in commute.

Love is a fluid state of mind and one cannot apply his mind to practical matters that need all wordly wisdom. At that time I was only depending on Anju's written update. Now when I saw the episode just now, realized that Anju couldn't understand what Amma had advised. She infact mentioned it. So it was Amma's Old woman's wisdom that made Indira work on it like a dutiful daughter. Now it all makes sense!
Wish our Indira lovers had given some credit to Amma on what she advised and how Indira obediantly agreed to it. People could have praised her still keeping her child's mentality behind the Hitler exterior, but no everyone just wanted to praise, how Indira is sensible and .. and ..

Now I am thinking, it is better to watch HD through own eyes!

Chalo Nels you aptly described the rise and fall of expectations for Inshi.

And as Raj said, ye to hona hi tha, in his post (title)

Shri, do you mean that my titles are misleading? 😕 I never meant it that way. Infact while putting the title I just keep in mind that my message is conveyed in few words, which is not always possible.

And our Hitler is a super-woman with a super-man as partner. I never saw even Rishi eating anything. First time I saw him eating Pizza in dinner and then some chinese with Sameer which was left half way as they started fighting. And with Indira around, the guy is never fortunate to even see the food. When he ordered dinner in restaurant toh Ishaan gayab ho gaya and later when was about to serve food made by Indira on demand, bhabhi was gayab. Dono hi azeeb hain. Bhook hi nahi lagti 😆. I really want to know khaatein kya hain? Hawa? 😆

And Amma is our gem ... always! I so love to see her. Now I wish, when ever this Rishi identity is disclosed, Amma should be the one to put some sense in to Indira to realise what kind of person Rishi is. She deserves this right. What say?

My name's Borna 😊 It's easier to type than my username in any case! 😉
Ah, yes! I almost forgot about Amma's advice! Yeah, I agree with you about the motivation for the phone call now that I remember that bit 😊. The "kahan the aap raat bhar?" situation and Indira's constant grumbling from the previous episodes about Rishi suddenly going gayab was ringing in my ears at the time I was typing, so I mixed up my ideas, haha. I don't know, I really, really loved Indira's restlessness in those episodes, as well as the way her voice softened a bit when she would talk to Rishi in the ones from this week especially. Very nice touches there.
She said it, and I commend her for speaking up! She's very, very serious about this relationship. I was initially surprised (when she was first talking to Rishi's picture in his room) about her admitting that she loves him, but the rest of the scene and the rest of the episodes since then presented the depth of her feelings so beautifully that I keep going back to those moments and watching them. Considering that all of these events have occurred rather quickly, Rishi's reluctance to take Indira to meet his parents must be a little too much for her to bear right now...Rishi takes her seriously but like you said, he didn't plan on this issue popping up so soon - he has so much to take care of already, poor guy.
On an aside, I love the searching, questioning look in Indira's eyes that can be seen in quite a few scenes where she's speaking with Rishi, and the helpless silence that's mirrored in his eyes. She wants to know more about him as much as he wants to tell her, but they're both stuck because of their circumstances. I was going to say something else about another nuance I noticed, but I forgot now 😆

Borna, your this para gave me new realisation 😆.
Indira has so much confidence in Rishi's skill in interpreting her and her actions that without speaking much she wants him to understand her desires/feeling 🤣.
That's why after the dream sequence she thought that her double meaning questions conveyed the message. But Rishi was indeed pre-occupied with other things and was raising valid questions. Her answer was a shocker to him and so he stood there frozen which definitely annoyed her and aroused her hitlerpana.
Same was the situation today, when he saw her in make-up and all dressed up. She again expected him to speak but he was too shocked or may be I should say mesmerized to speak.
I really liked her innocence and Rishi at loss of words. 😆

Your titles are Bhari bharkam 😆 Just like we used to have in English school texts. Instinctively I get pulled into them because it tells you it should have some substance, and so I get curious and start reading it. So your title is the puzzle that pulls me in to find out the answer.

Why I compared to Ila's precaps ? Because that is her pulling mantra for the next day, You simply cannot ignore her precap, cannot trust her precap and so have to see the next day to find out asli me kya hone waala hai.

On a serious note, I really admire the way you are able to give your titles. Writing mein itna to attraction to hona hi chahiye.

And rest I agree.

In my opinion, Indu's feeling was beautifully depicted except for the hurried confession, but CVs failed to show the same kind of feelings from Rishi side. It was hard to figure out when did Rishi actually start loving Indira ?
I found Indu very practical in her thoughts and not just like any ordinary girl would keep dreaming about her man and plan to spend time with each other or going on a date, she preferred to take the next step and get more serious about tieing the knot, but why didn't she realize this before proposing to Rishi ? Don't we judge that person we want to be our life partner thoroughly before we take the ultimate step in life ? or was't Indu totally submerged in Rishi's love that her emotions got better off her and proposed ? Probably the latter, but she realized for the good and made Rishi realize what are her priorities.
I also found Indu making Rishi understand through her actions than expressing everything in words and she wants to do those things which makes him happy. As much as Indu is strong from outside and practical, she has that fear of losing Rishi as well like any normal person would be. She wants to come hard at him in hopes that she is able to break his identity, which he hides from her, which she knows he does, but expects he would reveal everything now, but again when he comes with same lame excuses to keep her from knowing about himself or his family, she is mightly disappointed and gives him bitter dose of medicine, which would make him ponder he needs to reveal everything to her ?
Despite all this efforts from Indu to know him well Rishi still continues to keep mum about himself or family, then that would further break her heart and make her believe probably he is not trustworthy and think twice about how she is going to proceed with this reationship. So, the ball is in Rish's court and he needs to come up with a passing shot, otherwise, he is going to lose her faith forever!
