After a successful career spanning over 15 years, Karisma Kapoor chose to be the quintessential Indian housewife and mother.
After her last film Zamaanat in 2006, Karisma made a few cameo appearances and also tried her hand in television. However, it was only last year that the actress decided to take a plunge into Bollywood again with Vikram Bhatt's Dangerous Ishq. And Lolo hasn't stopped at that. Mumbai Mirror has learnt that Karisma, known for her dancing prowess is all set to scorch the screen in an item number in Rowdy Rathore.
According to sources from the industry, the item number, in keeping with the latest trend of Munnis, Sheilas and Chikni Chamelis, will also have a 'desi' tune. Rowdy Rathore director Prabhu Devaa will be choreographing the song.
Drawing inspiration from the recent Chikni Chameli number, this song too will be filmed in the villain's den. The villain Nasser and hero Akshay Kumar will also be a part of the song.
Though the song is not ready yet, the picturisation for the same will take place in Mumbai next month. When contacted, director Deva said they are still in the process of finalising it.
