u dont do anything on tumbler (as for as i know)
u make gifs,coloring etc using Photoshops and then upload them in tumbler for sharing!!!

when u add a texture
it will be like this



when u change the blend mode we will get the image like this

the marked part is where u will change the bled options

and after blending u chage the opacity u get the desired result!!!!

just play with it!!!!!
