My mother is a Parsi and my father a liberal Muslim. I was brought up in a very democratic set-up. I studied in a Catholic school and was more familiar with the Bible. I believe in karma, what goes around, comes around. Whatever you do, good or bad comes back to us in this lifetime itself.

So, try to live as honestly as possible and be nice to people. I stand and pray by the window every morning. But I don't believe in idol worship even though I have many Ganesha idols at home. I do believe that it may take time, but prayers do get answered. I have stopped asking God for anything, instead, I say if you think I deserve this, please give it to me.
