agreed that mocking ravi for not getting the english right was a bit mean but see, when he knew that his english is not great, why did he chose pretty woman.....and after that why did he say that english is not my first language thus trying to win people's sympathy😡😡...the whole of north india woudl have voted only as he said those Golden words"ENGLISH IS NOT MY BHASHAA"....even abhijeet sawant's pronunciation aint all the impeccable but that fellow choses the right song....when ravi knows that he cannot do justice to that song, why did he chose it......that's whats annoying and thus he receives all the flak

1)His pronunciation same as any other Hindi speaking person.
2) I don't think any body here has knowledge of Sur as sonu nigam. His songs on basis of Sur has been appreciated by sonu nigam himself in last two galas. Moreover sur are made as guidelines for good music based on people's preference for such notes. votes suggest ravi's performance is appreciated by most of the people, so if he slips some sur, those sur should be corrected and made as ravi has sung.

well, see sonu nigam just said that ravi was not as bad as annu said he was...but that does not mean that sonu praised/appreciated ravi......lets get that first......and well, people have different tastes but no one can change the core fact that ravi is not tuneful.....I dont like antara's voice as i think she squeaks but i do agree that she's melodious...but neither is ravi melodious nor is his voice quality first rate......and well, if he goofs up one or two notes in a song, that can be pardoned and overlooked...but most of ravi's notes are tuneless.......and well, Indian Idol is the biggest musical reality show and i dont think that we can give ravi chances just so that he can improve at other's expense......ravi might improve but that does not mean that a comparitively good singer panna must be sacrificed for that cause.......

3) Many people say ravi songs are Nasal. I think they do not know about sounds. Male sings using nasal sounds when they imitate females sound...human can generate sounds based on nasal, throat, chest and abdomen. All kind of sounds are required in different situation. with mike people normally use abdomen or chest sounds, and Ravi does both. So there is no wrong in his voice.

well, ravi is nasal....even himesh reshammiya is nasal but he sounds good and so does udit narayan........so nasal is just another type of voice and even a nasal voice can sound good provided it is melodious....but ravi is nasal and besura🤢......and well, i agree that the male singers get nasal when they try to imitate the female singers but then why is ravi imitating😕..he is a male❓😉😆(sorry😆😆...but his smile makes me think otherwise🤢😉) and must sing like a male😃 and not imitate......and its not the he is nasal only once or twice..he was nasal on fame gurukul, he was nasal in the auditions and he is nasal now and will always be nasal.....nasal and besura

4) some people are saying if ravi becomes indian idol, sony will lose revenue. I think they do not know how tv channel make revenue. In north India, still star plus and zee are more popular but with ravi's in Indian Idol program, sony is also getting north indian viewers as they made inroads in to J&K by Kazi, so its not loss at all to sony. Moreover why should all of us cry when people in India are selecting Ravi.
In my opinon final three in this contest are - Amey, Meenal, Ravi.

well Sony BMG(the audio company) is a sister concern od SONY ENTERTAINMENT TELEVISION......and all the songs are recorded on SONY BMG....and if ravi becomes the idol, SONY BMG would have to record a platinum disc with ravi which wouldnt sell😃, and thus Sony BMG would be at a loss and thus that would also effect SET as both are sister concerns....and well, you say that in the north STAR PLUS and ZEE are popular...but i dont think that you have any evidence to prove this😕(as the idol trp's are quite high and the ELAS trp's are pretty good too).....and we are back to square 1 again buddy😛.....J&K voted for Qazi just because he was from their state and not because he sang well...........yes, you say that why should all of us cry if ravi becomes the idol as india is voting....let me correct you....its NORTH(UP) INDIA which is voting as they sympathise with ravi and empathise when people ridicule him for speaking horrendous english🤢....but is that how its supposed to be.....so must we get an idol who has won all thanks to the sympathy votes😡......yes, i partially agree with you that idol is popular in the north only because ravi is representing....now this makes it so obvious that they would be voting for him as their hearts well out of empathy😭😡 and thus are biased and chose the wrong person and even defend him on internet newsgroups......oh please vote for the sake of music and not out of sympathy or because of the fact that you can connect to ravi's trauma
