I liove ID's music. I dont like HRs work except Tere Naam. I dont know ennough about AS's work so dont comment.
As for SRGMP, if ID is a saint as people are so vehemnetly defending him, I will not comment further. I do not condone the other two MDs for their behavior.

My comment was in the context of ID giving standing ovation on Subhash
Ghai's offer - that time we knew Debojit was through to the finals but Hema
and Vinit were still hanging.

exactly m point...

Quoting ADwarakanath
"HR - To fight for gay rights, and to get people to invest in human trade for India"

HR is progressive in his thoughts. 😉

That is your assumption, Don't know who did he want to be out. It may be Vinit, it may be Hema, it may be Himani or even Debojit.

It wasn't Vineet bec'se he said (pointing to Nihira and Vineet) "mujhe to yakin nahin ho raha ki yeh dono yahan kaise aa gaye"......infact he seemed angry that day and lambasted public for doing so.

Then it could be Himani, Debo and Hema. not a big deal.

Whatever but one thing I observed, so many people here in forum told that they wish their favorite singer would be in ID gharana. This shows ID as mentor is better than other. Actually so many Vinit's fans also told this. But nobody has told that he or she wish Debo or Nihira would be in AS or JL or HR gharana. Whatever people say but people accept that ID is better mentor in their hearts. But everything on earth is debatable, so keep discussing these issues.

ID conspired against Twinkle.Twinkle should have been in AS's gharana or HR's gharana. It would have been better even if she was in Jatin-lalit gharana.

Good at last we saw an exception. You are correct Twinkle should not be in ID gharana, because ID likes singing not dancing.

I completely agree with you, Varshaji.

First of all, let me say I love JL and ID as music directors. But as mentors, all of them - yes, ALL OF THEM failed to do their job. They all had lost respect from public either for over hyping their "not-so-good" contestants (vinit & himani), or putting some "they-will-be threat-to-us" contestants (debo & hema) down, to down right ignoring their own gharana singers (hema & nihira) who're really good. All the mentors have to live with the fact that they did injustice to some deserving contestants. Shame on them.

BTW, whoever said that ID gave standing ovation to Hema after Subhash ghai gave him a chance to sing- this is not true. I watched the episode many times, his standing ovation was before Subhash ghai declared the results between Vinit and Hemachandra. I would guess he gave the ovation to Ghai saab for siding the losing contestant. I would still hold all the 3 mentors responsible for the ouster of talented singers like Hema and Nihira. The damage is done, none of the mentor is better than the other.

The problem with us is we will never be happy in any case and we always assume that whatever we want it should be done. If it goes against our wishes then problem is with other. If HR is hyping Vinit, that is wrong. If ID did not hyped Nihira that is wrong. If HR is not pointed out Vinit's weakness then HR is wrong, if ID pointed out Twinkle's weakness then ID is wrong. How can same person say two contrasting things right. If ID stood up to give standing ovation to the loser that is wrong, ppl think he was happy that one thorn is out. If ID did not stand up and other two stood up then ID is wrong. In nutshell, if you want to show everything wrong around you, you can easily prove that specially when you have very thin line to differentiate two things. Everybidy has reason. And as I told earlier 95% people are biased. You are also one of them like me, so nothing special in it and enjoy the show and keep emotion somewhere else.
